ok, this isn't really much of an advice thing, so it'll probably be deleted, but I hope to get sum answers in
We have to cover out books for a few classes, and like I don't want to do the whole newspaper, or brown back covers, because then you have to use tape, and I got a new book, like I'm the 1st to use it, so I don't want to have to pay

I know that in middle school, they sold them to you, but I don't know where to get the Book Sox now (thats how you spell it, I'm POSITIVE)
if anybody knows, and if at wal-mart, would it be where all the regular school supplies are?
i've seen them in craft stores like a.c. moore around me, but i don't kno about where you live

In like two weeks im going to be a freshman in high school.. what can i do to stay organized.. ive never open a locker lock before and i was in the same school for 9 years before this.. can u help me and give me some tips on how to stay organized??
u can buy a shelf for your locker and magnetic bins for your pens and stuff...keep an agenda!! so that you don't forget what hw u have nd what books to bring home...i also suggest getting separate notebooks and folders for every class
I'm trying to write a final paper but I'm having a helluva time concentrating. Anyone have tips on keeping focused (besides not looking at websites instead of working)?
turn off the volume on ur comp and any music or nething and shut the door..brainstorm your ideas b4 u compile them
omg im sooo nervous for school to start!! im going to a school different from all my other friends in a new town! what can i do to calm myself down and maybe make this a more enjoyable expierence (school)?!

i went to a new school in 9th grade and i was nervous 2, but after a few weeks or so you'll kno how ppl truly are, so the first impression doesn't matter that much nemore...don't worry about it, things will work out :) be nice 2 everyone tho so that u don't a bad rep and don't gossip
During your first year of h.s. do u hang out with new friends or friends from ur grammar school cause idont have many friends from my grammar school and im worried that i wont have nayone to hang out with if i dont make friends ritee away?
i'd say that it depends on the school - some high schools join middle schools together for high school, so if that's tru in your case then you'll definitely meet new ppl...in most high schools, you'll meet ppl who rn't in the same grade as you that you have stuff in common with 2 so don't stress...one word of advice tho (well, this whole thing is supposed to be advice haha) - get involved in sports and clubs and stuff like that cuz it's a great way to meet ppl with similar interests to you
My parents payed for me and my brother to go to a private school. It was really expensive but thank god we got insurance so some of the money will come back to us if we deside not to go. Well my brother and i ended up going to public school where it's free, the thing is that the private school won't let us get the money back unless we go there for 15 school days. I have been arguing with my parents saying that i just started to make friends at the public school, and things are really going my way. Going to the private school for 15 days will make it really hard to go back to the public school. I really dont know what to do cause it's a lot of money we will get back, yet i am really startin to fit in at the public school.

wow! that's really weird, i've never heard of that! i think that you should go to the private school or else you'll probably feel guilty about the waste of money - i understand that it's gonna be really odd to leave one school and go to another one with a bunch of new ppl that you have to tell you won't be staying, but I think that the 15 days might go faster than you kno it!! just keep up to date on the schoolwork at the public school so that you aren't overwhelmed when you get back

if your friend got up enough courage to tell you, then she probably needs your support right now, and her personality hasn't changed just because you found this out! also, not to sound rude but look at it from this perspective ~ isn't it a little cocky to think she'll like you just because you're a girl? i mean, you don't like every guy you're friends with, right?? just let her kno that you are okay with her being that way but that you aren't !
If your a freshman in High School.. what is the homework load for someone in ALL honors courses?
well, obviously every school is gonna be different, but i was in all honors 9th grade and I thought it was a lot harder than 8th grade -- i had to do more reading on my own and i definitely studied a lot, but i got good grades!! if you are willing to put time into it, u should be fine!! *nothing is hard - it just takes time*
Well I have this really birth mark/mole on my at the top of my left arm, but none of my friends know about. I always cover it up with a bangage or something that sort but the only reason I do is because people used at school used to stare at it and make fun of me about it. So my question is should I keep hiding it or should I just let it be and not care about it?

does anyone take latin here? I took it for one year so far. What are some good ways to help you be good at it.
i took latin, this is what i remember: euh festina ubi? means where the party at? haha and agricolae means farmer lol it's mainly memorization so you just have to keep reviewing it
okay... i need to read another book for high school. it's my first year (i'm a freshman) and i'm enrolled in CP Humanities... i've already read my first book and i've completed my journal entry that we needed to do for it... i'm supposed to read another book. it has to be a novel and more than 150 pages long i'd actually prefer it to be 200 or more pages long does anyone have a good suggestion on a book??? no harry potter books... i hate them and it HAS to be a NOVEL any suggestions?? i start on the 5th... i think i can read a 300 page book in 2 days so just give me ANYTHING to read! i need good suggestions!

ok.i got this new courdoroy tan/white skirt..what kind of shoes would be best to wear with it? Im not the best walker in heals lol. Would plain white sneakers be good? What kinda "fancier" shoes would be best?
Also..i have split ends...but i like my long hair..does layering it sound like a good idea?
if you wear sneakers, make sure they are the flat kind and that they also aren't like running shoes - white would be good....about your hair, i'd just trim it a teensy bit unless you want a different look
I have been going to the same Christian school all my life. Now Im entering high school and I have the choice to go to the public highschool near my house. Im worried about not making friends or getting into trouble in the public school. Its my choice but I cant decide. Which on should I go to and why? Please help! i don't know what kind of reputation the public schools in your area have, but i know that a lot of the public schools where i live are full of crime and are run less smoothly than the private ones and when applying for college, i've been told that the fact that i go to a catholic school is definitely going to give me an advantage...if your more worried about how switching will affect your social life, then i can assure you that you will find a group to fit into at a public school so you shouldn't let that stop you
