Ok, I want to try to start wearing makeup, all my firneds do and im feeling kinda left out!
Any ideas on what to do, what brands, saftey tip,

hey you dont wanna start out with a lot of makeup, so i suggest you get a liquid foundation to match your skin. i use maybellene. like dream matte mousse or wondermatch. those work really well. then you could get some soft black or brown mascara and just apply lightely. its hard to find a good mascara and the one i have now isnt great so i cant help you with that. you can also get like a sheer lipgloss i use covergirl wetslicks.
^^those types of makeup will give you a natural look and it wont be all dramatic n stuff. i suggest that for someone who just started!

i like to wear my hair up in a bun or pony tail but my mom is soooo annoying about it. she says that i hav beautiful hair and i should wear it down. i keep telling her wen i wear my hair down i get really hot (like today i got out of the shower and i felt sick i was so hot). any suggetions?

well maybe you could cut your hair shorter... idk how long it is now but if its really long get some long layers and some length off to lighten it up... or oyu could do styles like a half pony

I'm going to an event and I need a pretty dress that is short and sleevless or has thin straps. If anyone could post a website where I could find dresses like the ones I described I would appreciate it a lot. The price doesn't matter as long as it doesn't look junky, trashy, or cheap. Thanks... I usually just use a little foundation with powder over it to set the foundation, but it really makes my skin look so dry and---dull. theres no dewyness or light to it. What are some types of makeup I can use to give my skin a dewy glow??
i got this amazing stuff its called "high beam"
its at Benefit and their website is like www.benefitcosmetics.com or something like that... they also have this stuff called "hollywood glo" but its not as good if youre pale because it makes your skin look too pink... the "high beam" is liek $20 but its worth every penny... hope i helped!

abercrombie and fitch was the most popular store pretty much to shop at. now hollister is..its just like abercrombie practically but i guess u could say thier pants are cheaper..anyone who doesnt know..abercrombie pants are 70.00 and up while hollister is 40.00 .. anyways everyone is now wearing hollister and i havent gotten around to going yet. when i go to hollister i dont want to buy all this stuff and have people coming up to me saying i have that u copied me..and so on. should i care ..or should i just be up to date?
you can be up to date without going to hollister... forever 21 has great stuff and its really popular but since its so huge you like never get the same stuff as someone lol... theyre also pretty cheap... like i got my favorite pair of jeans there for like 9.99! kohls too... but if you do want to shop at hollister i wouldnt worry about people caring that much... if they do then its their problem because thats retarded...

okay for you older high school students...i`m a freshman in H.S. and i was wondering do you think when you do your eyeshadow you should just find one really good color like a certain shade of bronze that looks really good, or should you wear eyeshadow that matches your clothes?
well it kinda depends what skin color you are...
if youre pale- greens/ blues/ pinks
if your tan- browns/tans/golds
if your dark- bronzes/purples

OK i got this realllly cute real Guchi purse for my birthday. Its really cute! and I just figured out that the most popular girl in school has the same purse! Im really mad cause i really want to use it but i can't because if she see's it shes gonna hate me! and well she kinda likes me right now and lets me hang out with her and shes really nice and stuff. BUt we cant have any of the same stuff as them. Even clothes. It really stinks cause i love all her clothes and i have the oppurtunitiys to but them! I really like there group! should i even hang out with them?
ok well first of all its GUCCI!!! never spell it guchi again thats horrible... but yea you should be able to wear/have what you want! if you go to school and she sees that you have the same one then just be like "omg you bought that too?" and tell her that youve had your for a while so she will think she bought it second and she wont be able to like "exclude" you or whatever... if she cares that much about herself and like not letting anyone else have anything that she hasd then i do not know why you would want to be friends with her but thats your problem... so anyways.. if she does dislike you then become friends with other memebers of the group... hope i helped

Ok... well here's the problem.... i have no clue wat to do with my hair... I've tried sooo many products... let me tell you my routine so maybe you can help me... i take a shower in the morning... i use both shampoo and conditioner.. i always brush my hair while the conditioner is in... after i do that i put on frizz ease... then i either wrap my head in a towel till it's dry or i have to leave.. in either case i put it in a ponytail... because it always ends up being frizzy... the frizz-ease doesn't work at all.. it always just makes my hair greasy... ((and frizzy))... anywhoo'z i've tried puttin gel in... i've tried so0o many different products... biosilk, tresseme, garnier... etc.. but none of them work... i've also tried the dryer sheets thing too.. that didn't work either... i've tried to alter my routine... maybe by not brushing it.. or not blowdryin it.. i've tried it without conditioner.. i've tried everything.. what else can i do?? sry it's so0o long by the way..

well i used to have pretty frizzy hair too but now i use pantene pro-v! it works really well for me! i have really thick hair too but it works... they have like different types... i use to one called smooth n sleek... its got green lettering... hope i helped!

ok well to get rid of frizz- you can use pantene pro-v smooth and sleek conditioner and shampoo! it works for me! and for money- you can babysit, petsit, mow lawns, water plants, do chores around the house... babysitting pays the most tho! hope i helped!

Alright, this is sort of a random question, but I'm cleaning out my closet today, because I have WAY too many clothes. It's hard to find anything to wear because I have so much STUFF that I simply never wear...does anyone have a solution to this problem? Like, can you list out what a good amount of clothing to have is? For example, how many jeans you should have, how many tee-shirts, how many skirts, etc. Also, what's the remedy to this? I have so much clothing-but nothing to wear! Should I limit where I shop to like...2 or 3 certain clothing stores? HELP!
ok well when you find stuff that you never wear then modify it! spruce it up a bit and put some personality into it! and on amounts: whatever you wear regularly... if you only like the wear 1 or 2 pairs of jeans then only own 1 or 2 pairs... mix n match! just wear what you think looks right! and you dont have to have a couple special stores to shop at just go where you see clothes that you like! hope we helped!

I can't make up my mind as to what style I want to wear everyday..one day I will want to be all nice and dressed up...you know, stiletto shoes, a cute sweater, nice pants from Express..the next I'll want a grungey, hippiesh Urban Outfitters look...the next I'll want cute and preppy and so on...
How can I set my style, and if i don't want to set my style, how can I incorporate things from my wardrobe so that I'm not spending a fortune on tons of looks.
well if youre comfortable with yhow you look, just wear what you think looks good! just mix n match... grunge/ dressy/ preppy... you can make it work!!!

I have a very plain face. I have a brownish/blondish hair color,thick and long hair, greenish eyes, and okay lips. I hate how I look and I want to change. Im allowed to wear make up but I just cant find the right kind. Any suggestion? Just ask if you want to see a pic.

for the face:
-maybellene wonderfinish liquid foundation... it blends great with your skin color and looks natural
-benefit "hollywood glo" face makeup... makes your face have a natural glow
eyes:
-covergirl triple mascara
-any type of eyeliner is ok... i prefer pencil... if you want a natural look go for the browns and mahoganys
-any eyeshadow but with green eyes something natural (gold, tan...) would look good
lips:
-covergirl wetslicks!!! they work like a dream!!!

ok well if there is a forver 21 store near you go there!!! they have sale stuff ALL the time!!! i got lik emy favorite pair of jeans there for like $9.95!!! crazzi i know... yea and you coul dget a job to save up... if you cant get a normal job then maybe you can just do chores around your house or around the neighborhood like walking dogs, watering plants, mowing lawns... that kind of stuff... and for some fashion ideas--> hollister, american eagle, aeropostale, forever 21... (you dont have to buy stuff at those stores b/c some of them are expensive thats just fashion ideas!) hope i helped!

my hair is REALLY wavy and frizzy and cruly to a point were it looks horrible when i let it dry or blow dry it. so i bought a chi iron- if you dont know what that is it's supposedly "the best" stragitener- but when i straighten my hair with it after about ten minutes it starts looking bad! i've had it for about 2 years- so is it just dying? but it happened when i first used it 2! am i just not doing it right or should i use hair spray and how much hair spray? does anyone also know any other syle besides scruncing that might look good w/ my kind of hair? help is really appreciated! thanx!
well you can get pantene pro-v shampoo... it works like a dream... my hair used to be frizzy but now it looks great... use smooth & sleek conditioner and for shampoo you can use another type (pantene pro-v has different types of shampoo for diff hair) it works great... you could try blowdrying your hair n then doing like loose curls like jessica simpson n lindsay lohan... hope i helped!

Hey everyone. I was wondering what YOU think is cute to paint or re-arrange your room, because my room has no windows and its always so dark and depressing down there and i was just wondering if you had any ideas to spice it up a bit at low costs? i will rate for effort.
YELLOW!!! i just painted my room yellow!!! ok trust me yellow will lighten up any bedroom!!! its a bright color and it makes small enclosed rooms look much bigger... white furniture... any light colors... if you dont like yellow go for light blue or something... light light light... and light furniture... another amazing way to make your room seem bigger is mirrors... do like a fun collage of mirrors on your wall or something... and to fill up the walls, make collages of pictures of your friends and things that are important to you... personalize! hope i helped!!! =)
