Question Posted Saturday February 5 2005, 11:47 pm

abercrombie and fitch was the most popular store pretty much to shop at. now hollister is..its just like abercrombie practically but i guess u could say thier pants are cheaper..anyone who doesnt know..abercrombie pants are 70.00 and up while hollister is 40.00 .. anyways everyone is now wearing hollister and i havent gotten around to going yet. when i go to hollister i dont want to buy all this stuff and have people coming up to me saying i have that u copied me..and so on. should i care ..or should i just be up to date?

You shouldnt care what people think. but it is good to be up to date. i wear abercrombie and fitch and hollister but not alot of people do. everyone dresses different and everyone has thier own taste and you have yours and if you dont want to buy alot of hollister stuff then dont. and if you still like abercrombie more then buy abercrombie. just be you.

Yes, become a corporate whore and wear what everyone else is wearing. Make the fat, cigar smoking middle-aged white men even richer. Give them $100 bills to blow their nose on on the golf course.

Seriously, who gives a flying fuck what everyone else is wearing? I am proud to say that I have never even so much as walked into a store such as that. I do not, nor have I ever owned any piece of clothing from American Eagle, Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, or any other overpriced bullshit store. The only thing I've got that comes close is a few things from Old Navy, which were bought for me; I did not pay a dime. And guess what? I get along just fine!

Fuck the mainstream. Wear clothing from anywhere; who gives a damn?

you shouldnt care what people think of your clothes...I know for a fact I refuse to go into those stores because I HATE being like everyone else...If you like a shirt , or if you like pants, buy them, if people have a problem with it tell em to just back off that 60% percent or more of your school shops at that store and if shes trying to be unique and original then to shop somwhere else because a reality check to her...look around. Mostley everyone is wearing those brands.

Hope i helped!!

you can be up to date without going to hollister... forever 21 has great stuff and its really popular but since its so huge you like never get the same stuff as someone lol... theyre also pretty cheap... like i got my favorite pair of jeans there for like 9.99! kohls too... but if you do want to shop at hollister i wouldnt worry about people caring that much... if they do then its their problem because thats retarded...
hopei helped!

Why don't you just wear what you want to wear and not wear something that's "up to date"? Yeah, Hollister is "popular" now but it doesn't mean you have to shop their now. People will probably say that you have copied them but who cares, you are your own person and you can wear whatever you want. Hope I helped :)

Where what you like to wear. I know what you mean saying that hollister is the in thing, but wear what you like, can afford, and is comfortable for you. I still shop and aripostle, pac sun, hot topic, and heck, I even shop at goodies. I don't have anything hollister, but I don't care. You don't have to be 'up to date' wear whatever the hell you want to wear. And if that means wearing hollister, then wear hollister. Hollister has nice clothes, or at least nice clothes that look good on guys ;-). But if you prefer hollister, and somone says something because that's what you're wearing, tell them to f%c# off.

Why worry what everyone else is wearing? I suggest you go to Neiman Marcus, or Saks Fith Avenue. The clothes there are soo much nicer, and you will always be in style. Also, you should realize that Abercrombie and Hollister are not really that cool. They are overpriced and they aren't even brand name!
