Hey! First off, i'm going to start by saying I came here on this site to give people advice. Some people actually don't know the real meaning of advice. They think its the answers they want to hear. But i'm not here for that. I'll give you advice, and it might be something you don't want to hear. But deal with it! You may take my advice or not, its completely up to you and you are not gaurnteed a correct solution.Ok so now that's clear, I'll talk to you more about myself. Hence the username... I play volleyball. It is my passion and basically my life since I've played for about 7 years. Most of my friends say i'm 50/50 tomboy and girly girl. I LOVE sports!! I play volleyball all year round, and then I go to the park during free times to play some soccer, football, hockey, basketball or baseball with my friends. But then again, I could be inside trying on my new Sephora makeup i'd just gotten, or reading the latest Seventeen magazine or even arranging my clothes for school tomorrow.
You can ask me just about anything and i'll be happy to answer it. You can count on a full and detailed answer.
Oh and another thing... I love getting feedback! Even if its a negative comment. It tells me what I need to work on or even what I did correct.

BODY EXERCISES AND WORKOUTS! my way or the highway
advice
How can I make everyday outfits unique and different. I don't want to go out and buy a new wardrobe. I like vintage stuff and edgy stuff, kinda opposites huh?! but its okay because I make it work, anyway, how can you make average clothes go that extra mile to look really cool and different??
accessories are a girls best friends.
try different earrings, necklaces, bracelets, scarves, hats, shoes, tanktops, layers, overthrow jackets.
main key- buy lots of simple plain things. like if you buy a white tshirt, and many cute tanktops, you can mix and match them together. try wearing a dress one day. also what you can do is if you have clothing thats small or you dont like- you can cut the clothing up into pieces and sew it together with other pieces to create a totally unique look. also if you're good at knitting, you can knit your own scarves and hats. you can also make unique jewlery. if you find something really random, think to yourself "would this make a good earring/necklace/ring etc." and find ways to transform it. take some pliers and twist objects in different ways to create new shapes.
also, look at a lot of magazines or online pictures. also, look at characters wardrobes on television or movies. you can generally get really good tips from their wardrobes (because their professionally picked out) also, notice other what other people wear in your daily life. now i'm not saying to COPY their wardrobe.. i'm saying get ideas from them. if you see a really nice shirt, try to sketch it out and recreate one like that, but perhaps a unique twist to it.
good luck :)
PLEASE! can somebody tell me what I need to do to get big loose curls? I have tried everything and the curls just seem to fall right back out. Thank you if you can help me. :)
i'm not an expert on curls because i rarely have curly hair, but my friends tell me that what they do is they take a section of hair and put hairspray on it BEFORE they curl it with the curling iron or those hot roller things. and then they spray it again with hairspray after. then they leave it alone and let it cool off, dont touch it. then after everything is curled, they run their fingers through their hair to give it more life like textures.not just piecey hair.
so i have dark blonde hair and i was thinking about dying my hair brown but i want to see how it looks first so i was wondering if theres any websites that will make it look like a have brown hair? thank youu.
www.thehairstyler.com
www.stellure.com
if you have adobe photoshop, you can do it on there (i dont have it so i dont know how to use that) but if you search on google or youtube, they have some tutorials on how to do it.
www.picnik.com --- there's a geek option and its called color retouch or something like that and you just follow the instructions.
hope i helped!
so i love those kind of shirts that are like fitted around the waist and get a little looser towards the top, and then have the loose, flowy short sleeves. does anyone know what im talking about? i dont really know how else to describe it. anyone know of a specific store [not online] that sells them? and please dont say abercrombie hollister blah blah because they dont have them and if they did they'd probably be forty bucks! thanks.
i think i know what you mean... is it like when you stretch out your arms to the sides, the sleeves hang down and make like a triangle?? well if it is, then try going to Von Maur. I got a shirt that is red, and a little sparkely. its fitted around the waist and towards the top gets more loose and the sleeves are very loose. and it wasn't that much money either because it was on sale. so try going there

my mom wont let me get any more piercings even though id KILL for a nose piercing!! ugh anyway i want to know what to do to change. i dont want a haircut. but im just so boredd and im the type of person who needs a change once in a while. for myself. not for anyone else.
try out different cliques. for example, if right now you are preppy... try going out for a jock. if you are a jock... try going out for nerd. if you are a nerd... try going out for fashionista.
change your style, room, clothes, hair, makeup, the way you talk, the way you walk, your interests, your hobbies etc.
for example, if you dont like rollercoasters, try going on a few of them.
if you are not spontanious, then be spontanious.
join groups that you would not normally join. for example the computer club, key club, writers club, drama club, sports club, home economics club, math club, science club, etc.
change your friends... but keep the ones you still have. dont forget them.
Hey. You answered my question on hair styles and i was wondering if you could try to explain them. If you don't know how or don't want to thats fine.
hey. I would be glad to help you. I will try my best to explain them, I am truly sorry if they dont make sense.
The first one I am going to explain is usually used for a formal updo. Take your hair and make it into a ponytail, make sure that the ponytail is not too tight and make it a little loose. next part is tricky. you need to make an opening at the part just above the hair binder/rubber band. now take the ponytail and bring it up so it is sticking striaght up and then stuff it down that opening. so now your ponytail should be touching your neck. next, the hairs that are touching your next go straight up again and then same thing, through the opening. If your hair is short, this will most likely not work. If it is medium, by this time it will end and you need to use bobby pins to secure the ends of your hair through that opening. if your hair is longer, you will be doing the "hair straight up and then through the opening" part a few times until you have no more hair and then secure it with bobby pins. got that??
next one i have is not so formal. you need to have wet hair for this one, but not like soaking wet. wet enough so when you comb it it will stay back. comb your hair back and then take a chunk of hair that is on your hairline by your face. (i normally start off with the chunk right above my ear) then you can either braid it or twist it. i like twisting it better. for twisting, there is a specific way. if you are on your left side, you have to twist it upwards towards the center of your head. same thing for the right side, twist it upwards. twist/braid it only half of the chunk and then place it on your head and secure with elastic bands or bobby pins. so it will look like this
http://www.geocities.com/hairwonderland/h30.jpg
but all over the hairline. got that?
3rd one is not that fancy but still very pretty. it is also easy. take your hair and put it into a half up do. then take the hair and pull it straight up and form it into a bun. secure with another hair band and make sure to leave out some strands of hair so it doesnt look too perfect. in other words, this hairstyle could be called the messy bun but only half up.
this is also simple. take the chunk of hair that is right on the top and on your hairline. take it and pull it sideways and start to braid it, take more hair as you go almost as a french braid. then once you get to your ear, tie with a hair band and then grab all the hair and pull it into a low ponytail and make it into a messy bun.
this one is awesome. when you are finished with this one, it looks like you are wearing a headband with your own hair. its amazing. what you need to do is take a chunk of hair (the bigger = looks like a bigger headband) and that chunk has to be right above your ear. start off with only one side. take that chunk of hair and pull it sideways towards the middle of your head. pull it until you are about to lose the hair and then secure with bobbypins but make sure the bobby pins are not visible. then do the same with the other side. right above the ear and pull it the opposite way until there is almost no hair to grab on anymore, then secure with bobby pins making sure that they dont show. and voila! it looks like you are wearing a headband with your own hair.
i hope all of these hairstyles were to your satisfaction and i hope you will like them! inbox me for any more suggestions. i would be glad to help! =D
I have light brown hair and I would like to go blonde for a couple days. Is there a non-damaging temporary method available that would wash out in a couple days/ washes? Thanks.
there are some hair dyes out there like loreal and revlon that are semi permanent and wash out in 28 washes. I did that when i wanted to test out dark brown hair
I need some new hairstyles. I am tired of the same boring stuff i do to my hair everyday. I have long blonde hair. it is super thick and naturaly wavy but very poofy and frizzy. I straighten or curl it most days. I just need some new ideas and ways to put it up.
****I usually like to have some hair down around my face.
try doing a half up half down ponytail. or braids always look cute. my grandma once did a french braid that started on the top of my head and then gradually went down to the side so it was a side french braid. pretty cool! you should also look in magazines. I have cosmo girl and seventeen magazines and they always have A LOT of hairstyles and really cools ones i must say. I have some in my head right now that i can describe to you but they are so complicated to type on here without actually showing it. and i dont have any pictures of it unless i did it on myself, took a pic and posted it on the web.
inbox me if you want me to try to explain them.
does anyone know where i can find a dress with the australian flag printed on it? i've been trying to find one everywhere on the internet, because i live in thailand now. my school is having an international day. does anyone know where i can find one please?
what you could also do is get a pretty dress you want and go to a sewing/fabric store (Hancock's is where I go) and there's patches. You can ask if they have a patch of an austrailan flag and then sew it onto your dress.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juicy_Couture
Juicy Couture was founded by Gela Nash-Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy. Hence the "love G&P"

Okay well, I'm 15, and I'm not completely preppy [I'm actually not really any sterotype, I dress differently from day to day] but my favorite store is Hollister. There are so many cute things in there, but I hate that so many people shop there. I also shop at Abercrombie, Pac Sun, Hot Topic, etc. all of the typical mall stores, but I hate it when people are wearing the same thing as me. I live in Boston, so what are some good stores downtown or sommething I could shop at?
Johnny Cupcakes for example. I also LOVE Betsey Johnson, but seeing as her stuff is like $400, it's kind of a problem.
Just like the other person said... go to their websites. Like american eagle for example... If you go to their website, they're probably going to have some items on their website that you can order, and are not going to be at the store itself. Or look for some items that are out of stock in the stores and then order them online.

im getting contacts soon and I want to getcolored ones but I don't know what kind to get. I have bright red hair and almost pitch black eyes. I was thinking something like a dark green or blue because I like to wear really deep black eyeliner, and I wear a lot of dark clothes. but I don't know what the name of an eye color that's dark blue or green. don't you have to know the name of the eye color you want so you can buy it?
I suggest going to this website
http://www.freshlookcontacts.com/collection.shtml
it has a lot of pictures of red heads with different colors and it has the names of the colors too.
It also lets you get 1 pair free.

Well, Christmas is coming up and I've decided its time to get some new make up. The problem is, I'm not sure what kind of brand is best so I don't know what to ask for.
Does anyone have advice for make up brands, or certain kinds that work bestt? =] I'm not asking for specific colors or anything, just item type and brand.
I have overall brands for different categories
Eyeshadow- Covergirl, Maybelline, L'Oreal, Almay
Eyeliner and Mascara- Maybelline
Blush- wet n wild, maybelline
coverup- covergirl, maybelline matte mousse
Lipgloss- bonne bell, wet slicks
so overall I would recommend maybelline. Its my favorite.

I want to get a knew hairstyle over the holidays but I don't know what to get. I have red semi thin hari, about medium length, and the hairstyle I was looking for was something that would give my hair volume, you know some kind of hair cut wiht volumizing layers.
does anyone hae any ideas?
try getting sideswept bangs with layers. Maybe have the length be like just above your shoulders? And I think it would look wickedly awesome if you got lowlights. Maybe brown lowlights to go with your red hair? that'd look so sick.

can someone send me a picture of what uggs and legwarmers look like together. like i dont know how to wear them with each other. thnaksssss
I found a picture on a website
www.flickr.com/photos/malingering/tags/wrong/
go there and then scroll down a bit and you'll see a small picture of a lady with pink leg warmers and pink uggs. She's old, has a coat with her hood up and next to her, it looks like a shopping cart with a red bag. Click on that picture and it'll enlarge.
Personally, I don't think they go well together. But I think the Ugg boots with fur are absolutely adorable!!

hey my hair iss SOOOOO straight and i hate it
i really want it curly like miley cyrus
or vanessa anne hudgens
like me and my mom try everything like curling irons and roll ons, but my curls come out in a matter of minutes
so i asked my mom about a perm, she didnt say no but i can tell she is trying to talk me out of it she keeps on saying "that was a thing back in the 80's and it doesnt even curl your hair it basically just crimps it and makes it weird and kinky"
but for some reason i still REALLY REALLY want to get it so should i? is what my mom says true?
helpp
Try putting hairspray in your hair before you curl it, but don't put it on the entire head at once... just spray 1 section of hair, then quickly curl it. Or you can put volumizing gel in 1 section, the quickly curl it. Then once a section is done, quickly spray it with hairspray (again).
If that doesn't work for you, then I would suggest going to a hairdresser and telling them your problem. They will give you tips and show you products that can make it work. Then they will actually do it to your hair. You can even ask them what a perm looks like, like a picture, and then decide if you still want to do it. If you feel confident enough, then go for it!

I do NOT have a clothing style. and sometimes this bothers me because when i go shopping, i feel like i dont really know what i want. i have a whole range of styles in my closet from scenish to preppy hiphoppy to sporty, but i dont want a style that can be so easily fit into a stereotype like that. so how do i choose?
I think its cool that you love to have different styles. You're just like me! In my closet, i have a lot of preppy clothes, fancy, sporty etc. just like you. But anyways, that doesn't mean that you have to choose one of them. Just find a store that has a style that you like. for me its-
Preppy- American eagle, aeropostle, hollister, abercrombie and fitch, etc.
not the usual teen clothes (fancy/clubbing clothes) - Von maurs, Deb, forever 21, rainbow, wetseal
sporty- pac sun, footlocker, Adidas,
so yeah, just because you love all of these types of styles, doesn't mean you have to pick 1. When you go shopping one day, just think of what kind of style you would like to go shopping for. Then go to those stores that carry that style.
If it helps, you could also go to department stores, they have a various types of styles.
Target, Walmart, JC Penney, Kohls, Sears,
I hope I helped!
