what do i do if i by all the clothing i think is really cool...but when i were 'em at school they dont look so cool.....
Go naked.
That's what I'd do.
well if i go swimming wil it change colors? or will it just wash out the color? cause i probably wont mind if it comes out. it only cost a dollar. but is there any chance it will change my hair color? to like green or any other weird color?
No, unless you have dyed it blonde, then it will not turn green. The color will probably fade a little bit and if you go swimming, your hair will become extremely dry and brittle. A good tip is after you're done showering and have washed your hair, put a small amount of conditioner in your hair and rub in thoroughly, then wrap it in saran wrap for 1 night. This will lock in moisture.
ok so just last night i dyed my hair like a dark brown color its almost black cause of how dark it is. well i wanted to go swimming today and the pool is clorigne. what will happen if i go swimming after dying my hair last night. will it turn green or something. if it helps anything the dye is from the dollar store. cause it actually really does work on my hair. and stays there longer then other ones ive had. well my question is if i go swimming in clorigne water will it turn my hair green or anything. please help me asap! i need to know before i get everyone to go to the pool thankyou in advance
You need to wait at least a week before you go swimming otherwise the dye will come right out. If you really can't wait a week at all, then you can either:
1) Wear a swim cap
2) Just put your hair up in a bun or high ponytail and avoid getting your hair wet
hello, i love wearing high heels but i'm already pretty tall (5'6"ish). is there any places that have cute heels but aren't 4in high? something like 2-3inch would be nice (no kitten heels please)!
thank you all in advance.

Hair: Hair should be center parted, naturally wavy, not curly. Rarely do I see Kate Moss with really kinky/curly hair. You can achieve this hair by braiding your hair into two braids after you get out of the shower, and then waiting until it's dry. When you take out the two rubber bands, you will have wavy hair that looks soft to the touch.
Makeup: Smoky eye, winged eyeliner, nude lips, heavily coated eyes [with mascara].
Where can I buy cheap (preferably under $20) skinny jeans for a 5'1" and thin girl? I have an issue with jeans being too long since I'm so short.
thanks!
Amanda Bynes' clothing line, DEAR, has a bunch of cute and cheap clothing. This includes skinny jeans. They run anywhere from $14-$20. You can find her clothing, and Sarah Jessica Parker's clothing line, Bitten, at your local Steve & Barry's.
alright so i got this bathing suit at american eagle, here's the link: http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/8721/aech8.jpg
so you see in the middle between your boobs.. well on mine, it's attached there by a little thread.. should i cut the thread so it looks like the picture with the two cups separate from each other? thanks! :)
NO. Don't cut the thread. If you cut it, the other two halves of the string will pop out from underneath the swimsuit.., and then it will be really hard to put it back in. Leave it like it is. It's fine.
Who are the makers of Juicy Couture?
Gela Nash-Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy. You'll notice on some of their recent clothing, they'll have 'Love G&P', which is, Love Gela and Pam
Hi!
What is a conftorble (but cute) outfit to wear on a long airplane? (About six hours?)
What shoes do i wear? How do i do my hair?
Thanks.
I completely agree with the columnist below me about the only cute thing about airplanes is getting off or watching the baby spit up while his mom just finished feeding him [true story]. For clothes, you should just wear sweats and a zip up jacket [so when you get too hot, you can just take it off, too cold, slip it on and zip it]. I don't recommend a hoodie, especially if it fits tight on you. It will be a pain in the butt to take off. For shoes, flip flops or flats will work fine. For your hair, I'd say a simple messy bun will be cute as well.
Our school needs cute t-shirt ideas.
One we have right now is a picture of a cake on the front and then the back would say: SMHS takes the cake. But I need better ones. Any advice?
Well, we have an amazing teacher at our school, Mr. A. [won't say his full name], and he's known for being hilarious, sarcastic, and just.. great in general. I suggested to our Student Council for our new shirts this year to have a picture of a really buff superhero [think Superman, or just a guy with a cape on], and cut out his head and isolated it, and then put it on top, so it looked like it was his face on top a superhero's body. Then on the back we put 'Mr. A Saves the Day'. You could try to do that, just to commemorate a favorite teacher that everyone loves. Just remember to ask the teacher first, they might think that you are making fun/mocking them in some way.

Well I used to be kinda boyish..I didn't give a shit about the way I looked, but over the last 4 months I've pulled myself together, and started caring.
I usually wear nice jeans with vans or converse but then a nice top and a jacket..and some jewelry.
But now I'm a bit lost and I was wondering, what type of shirts/tops could I wear, with what kind of jewelry.
Some pictures would be nice.
Thankyou :)
I've been through the same thing as you have. I was really casual in middle school [hoodie, Tilt Jeans, Etnies/Adios], and was very plain. Once I hit 8/9th grade, I started dressing up more. What I usually do is wear dark wash jeans, a dressy shirt, and casual flats [which are comfortable, and are cute as well].
I love Forever 21's shirts.

Remember to only wear clothes that YOU feel comfortable in. I'm sure you'd much rather wear an outfit that you felt comfortable in than an outfit that was too tight and uncomfortable, right?
for whatever reason i have a bunch of plain hanes white t shirts that are a little big, but should be tight with one wash
anyways im looking for some good things to do with them/good ways to wear them
if theres a cheap way i could tie dye them with like things around the house
or how to cut them into an off the shoulder shirt
anything would be appreciated!

That's a site where you can make practically anything from a t-shirt.
Hey, I just finished watching Harry Potter 5 (i absolutely loved it), and Harry's wardrobe in the movie caught my eye. Specifically the dark brown-grey corduroy blazer that he wore. Can anyone tell me where I might find something similar to it for a reasonable price? I'd like to buy it as a gift for my husband.. thanks! :)

Like that one?
face products (any kind)
how long do you leave on your skin before you wash off? massage onto face.. leave for 1 minute sound good?
Most of the face washes that I have tried say to massage it throughougly throughout your skin for about 30 seconds. If it it some type of acne product, I would leave it on till it dries out.
whats the best brand of makeup?
I highly recommend investing in some mineral makeup. No, this does not mean that you have to spend $30 on Bare Minerals. L'Oreal and Maybelline mineral loose powder foundation are way cheaper, and they don't harm your skin.
You can wear any type of makeup, you just have to learn how to blend it correctly. Get a big blush brush and begin to blend all over so that your makeup looks flawless and smooth.
This is what I do [in order]:
1. Moisturize! Very important!
2. Apply L'Oreal Bare Naturale Gentle Mineral Powder. Dip brush in powder, tap on side to remove excess, and apply in sweeping, circular motions.
3. BLEND BLEND BLEND!
4. I use a little tiny glob of Dream Matte Mousse [cream foundation], and combine with glob of lotion to make a solid, liquid foundation [almost]. Apply all over, cover all spots, very important to do this. You don't want to look blotchy. BLEND BLEND BLEND!
5. Apply CoverGirl Pressed Powder to smooth out entire look.
6. Apply eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, whatever else.
My makeup ends up looking very smooth, and flawless, and it covers my blemishes and acne scars.
Message me if you need anything else.

Massie Block? Are you kidding me? WOW.
Why does washing your hair under cold water make it shiny?

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone has any substitutes for tanning lotion (the kind that you're supposed to put on before you go into a tanning bed.) It's SO expensive and I don't feel like paying $30 for a bottle. Is there something else out there that works just as well and that is CHEAP? Can I just use regular lotion? Do I even need lotion at all?
THANKS!
Usually, the tanning lotion that you can find at Walmart/CVS/Walgreens are of lesser quality, but are not as expensive.
http://cgi.ebay.com/HAWAIIAN-TROPIC-GOLDEN-TANNING-SUNTAN-LOTION-SPF6_W0QQitemZ180125268220QQcmdZViewItem
That one would range anywhere from $8-$10.
Do not use regular lotion, you need to use something that protects against UV rays [that are emitted from the sun]. And yes, you do need to use lotion, but not the moisturizing kind, you need the kind that looks similar to the link that I posted above.
does anyone know if striped pants are still being sold at forever 21?
http://pics.livejournal.com/mizuchan_desu/pic/000180fa/s640x480
or know of a place thats selling them right now (same wide vertical stripes)

This was the closest thing that I could find. The stripes are not as thick, but it generally follows the same pattern as the pants on the livejournal site.
You should browse around Hot Topic's pants on their site if thats not what you like.

I have a really fuzzy face, strange as it sounds. (Just a whole bunch of peach fuzz, they're blond and pretty unnoticeable).
The thing is I have some blemishes and an uneven skin tone, and I would like to try out a foundation to hide that.
I'm scared that if I start using foundation it'll highlight those hairs and make them noticeable. So probably liquid foundation is out of the question. What do you think? And can you recommend a specific product?
I've heard of bare minerals, but I can't get it if its not something I can buy at a store (is it bought online?).
Thank you. I'm 17 years old by the way.
*** To answer your question left in feedback, it does not come with an applicator. I use my fingers. You could buy a separate makeup 'sponge' applicator if you want. ***
I use Dream Matte Mousse by Maybelline. The product is seriously the best one out there in the drug store. It covers your blemishes, doesn't make your hair noticeable on your face [I have some too], and it blends everything. I love it. I believe it's $6 and you can get it at Walmart/CVS/Walgreens/Rite Aid/practically anywhere. When you put it on, rub it in circles to help the blending process. Make sure to put foundation in ALL areas [jawline, little underneath jaw, temples, above upper lip, chin, ect] That was the first mistake that I made when I was wearing foundation, was not blending it into all of the places. It also lasts all day, so there is no need to reapplication.

Thats what it looks like. I'm sure you won't be dissapointed.
By the way, DON'T forget to wash your face before you go to sleep.
