My name's Megan :) I'm 16 years old and live in Kansas...not on a farm though. I'm a junior in high school. I'm a varsity cheerleader and have cheered at my school since my freshman year. I did competitive cheer ages 12-15. I'm a freshmen mentor at school as well as in a peer education group for positive body image called REbeL. I'm also involved in National Spanish Honors Society. When I was 10 I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder and still take meds to control it. I'm really mature for my age but also love to have fun! I LOVE country music, my friends, meeting new people, and driving around in my mazda 3. Feel free to ask me anything :)

I have long (midback), wavy, thick hair. I straighten my hair about 2-3 times a week. My current straightener (http://www.folica.com/Maxiglide_Hair__d1778.html) just isn't working anymore. It leaves my hair straight, yeah, but a less defined straight. I'm looking for a straightener that will leave my hair pin straight and that will show off my angles and layers.
Any straightener ideas?

ok im gonna have a baby soon and i really want to name if its a boy 'sean' or a girl 'brooke' but i have no idea wat their middle names gonna be can anyone give me some suggestions.

how do you spend your time? not just free time but your life? im at a loss. i waste too much time doing nothing at all. and it seems like everyone else is doing something glamorous or something. :`(

It's normal to feel that way..I feel that way alot!
Well, me personally, I go to school Mon-Fri, normally hangout with my friends on Friday or Saturday nights, and spend time with them during the day Saturday. On Sundays I have cheer practice or competitions and then I go to church and school of religion. Mondays I have cheer practice, Tuesday I help coach cheer, Wednesdays I tumble, Thursdays I have cheer prep class, and in the meantime, I find time for guitar hero. :) Haha. Really, I just try to spend time doing what I love and being with who I care about most, my friends.

I'm interested in getting the motorola Q from verizon wireless and i was wondering if anyone had it and could tell me if it's a good choice. i don't really need music on my phone but email and internet would be awesome. my other options are a razor or a samsung phone that is black. thanks for any help!

well i don't know anything about the motorola q or a samsung phone but i have a motorola razr from verizon and theres one major problem. it doesnt even hold a charge for even a day sometimes ! its so annoying. so really, i would look at the other phones moree and keep the razr as a last choice. ♥ megan

When should you start wearing makeup 6 grade? 7 grade? cuz i haven't started yet i dont know the age i should start at!!

i started wearing it in 7th grade. i really wish i WOULDNT have started wearing it though. i just feel better looking naturall. you should start wearing makeup whenever you want to. make sure parents permission though. my mom always told me i didnt need makeup and trust me, i wish i would have listened to her. it's just a hassle and really, natural DOES look better. so start whenever you feel the need to. it's your choice. good luck beautiful! =] ♥ megan

How do you look more feminine?

I'm not talking about clothes or anything related.

I'm talking about the face. Any makeup tips or hair styles (heart or oval shaped). Eyebrow shapes? PICTURES PLEASE.

Every time I look in the mirror.. I don't feel or look like a woman.. even though I have C cup boobs and whatnot.

It's just my face that's bothering me. I was never mistaken for a boy .. I don't know what's wrong with me.

you should use a shimmer type of highlighter on temples and around your cheek bones. it could bring out the structure of your face more. ♥ megan

I always am thinking about food, even if i'm not the leastbit hungry. I always want to be eating. CAn you please tell me some good ways to keep food off my mind.

alot of the time, when people are bored they think about food. what i do to get my mind off food is go out to fun things with my friends. or like making up dances with my friends ! it passes the time and makes me not think about food. also, pshycial activity like basketball, volleyball, dance, and cheerleading for me, keep my mind off of it. also, when you have just eaten a full meal but you're STILLL thinking about food, have a bottle of water. it's said to fill you up more. ♥ megan

Do you think the reason people only dwell on comments that were made to them because the comments made to them is on the topics they are sensitive about and not on the ones they are NOT sensitive about.

i think people dwell on the things they are sensitive about because it makes them feel like they really do have something wrong with them in that area. if it's something they're NOT sensitive about, then why should they care what people think? ♥ megan

I'm moving in a week and we're getting new cell phones/plans. What is the best phone I can gete for under $250? Any deals you've seen with certain providers? I mostly call & text but pics & videos wouldn't hurt. Durability is always a plus. I want a really good phone so any opinions are appreciated. I'm sixteen & a female.

a motorola razr with the verizon service provider is what i have. it's really easy to use and isn't expensive! it has video and pics too. the pictures have a really great quality to them too! hope this helped. ♥ megan

So I have a 22 year old brother. I have no clue what to get him for Christmas. I've asked him many times what he wants and he says any book or cd. He enjoys reading and is in his own band. So any ideas on books or cds would be amazing! or anything else a 22 year old boy might like!

well a baseball cap of his favorite team is always a good idea. if he likes bands like taking back sunday, hawthorne heights, five times august, avenged sevenfold, secondhand serenade or other bands like that then those are good. harry potter is a good series if he would like something like that. who doesn't like harry?! sorry if this wasn't much help!
