if you are thinking about eating.. make sure its healthyy. also you should try getting into activities, whether its a sport or a club get involved because it'll keep your focus away from food. if you are thinking about eating even if your not hungry try drinking a glass of water.. because sometimes your thirsty not hungryy.. =]

alot of the time, when people are bored they think about food. what i do to get my mind off food is go out to fun things with my friends. or like making up dances with my friends ! it passes the time and makes me not think about food. also, pshycial activity like basketball, volleyball, dance, and cheerleading for me, keep my mind off of it. also, when you have just eaten a full meal but you're STILLL thinking about food, have a bottle of water. it's said to fill you up more. ♥ megan

Well, the things I usually do; Is think of something else like the things you would want to get. Have fun with a friend and go to the mall somewhere away from the food in your house:P But if you really thinking of food and not hungry than enjoy a little snack:P
Hope this helped, xox esty

well i think a great way to keep yourself from thinking about food is to occupy yourself. Do things you enjoy doing ect. going out with friends. When your enjoying yourself you won't have enough time to think about food :)

I have the same problem! Its probably because youre not busy. (I eat when Im bored all the time. Bad habit.) And Ive found that if I keep myself busy, food becomes less of a constant want. I was about to say need, but you dont NEED the food. You need food, but you dont need chocolate ice cream, a bag of chips and 3 yodles. ;] ha. You can keep busy by excercising, hanging out with a friend, taking a walk, dancing, listening to music - ANYTHING that interests you. And try to stear clear of the kitchen of course. Try to mentally tell yourself you dont need it, youre just craving the TASTE and remind yourself its a proven fact cravings subside after 15 minutes! So wait it out.

This happens to me sometimes to. xD Like someone previously said, join a sport or some other activity that gets you really involved in doing something, it could even be as easy as doing some artwork like sketching. It should be something fun interactive and fairly long lasting. You could also go somewhere away from food, like a friend's house or a walk in the park. People usually don't do much in their home besides sleeping, watching tv, and eating. For example; for many people it becomes a habit to walk into their house and immediately open the fridge, even if their not hungry. So taking yourself away from the home environment helps a whole lot.

Well you can join sports, clubs, ect. Watching t.v. but be careful if you watch t.v. I figured out with my own experience that when you watch t.v. you tend to eat more because it might be a habbit to watch t.v. and eat. Computer games, online games and stuff that will keep your mind off food. Hobbies are great too they keep you thinking of that more than food. If you continue to keep wanting food alot then remember to eat healthier snacks. Water helps the hunger sometimes go away so I suggest that too.

Hope I helped

If you are always thinking about food even when you are not hungry and you simply MUST have it try a healthy snack instead. See how your body reacts and see what you like and what you dont. If you watch tv while eating or watch tv alot, think about becoming physically active, and drinking lots of water. like maybe join a sports team you like or think is fun. to get rid of your cravings, maybe talk to a doctor. they can surprise u and come up with great techniques. if you are embarassed to go see a doctor maybe talk about it with a sibling, cousin, aunt, uncle, grandparent, friend, or cousin. maybe they can relate. also, maybe have friends over more often and do fun things together. or try out a new hobby like scrapbooking and looking back on something funny that happened. or maybe keep a journal of what you've done so far in your day or whatever. write poems, songs, or stories about how u feel or whatever. maybe take a trip to the mall with some friends or siblings or cousins or whatever and check out some new music. it could develope into a hobby of listening and judging the music and seeing what you like or dont like. I hope I helped and good luck! <3
