feminine

Question Posted Sunday December 24 2006, 10:33 pm

How do you look more feminine?

I'm not talking about clothes or anything related.

I'm talking about the face. Any makeup tips or hair styles (heart or oval shaped). Eyebrow shapes? PICTURES PLEASE.

Every time I look in the mirror.. I don't feel or look like a woman.. even though I have C cup boobs and whatnot.

It's just my face that's bothering me. I was never mistaken for a boy .. I don't know what's wrong with me.

Additional info, added Monday December 25 2006, 3:10 am:
I already have my makeup. Bare Minerals.
Because every other foundation makes my skin break out.

I just don't think eyeliner looks good on me. Liquid or pencil. Blush makes me look like a clown.

I can't go out any time soon. :\

you should use a shimmer type of highlighter on temples and around your cheek bones. it could bring out the structure of your face more. ♥ megan

Well, girls faces are usually very cleaned up. Im glad you mentioned eyebrows!

Heres some tips on eyebrows:
Here's How:
1. Pick a natural light source for your tweezing.

2. Place a warm washcloth over brows for 5 - 10 minutes.

3. Exfoliate brow with a washcloth to help free up any (potential) ingrown hairs.

4. Pull skin taut and remove offending hairs as close to the root as you can AND in the direction of the growth.

5. Close pores with an astringent when you have completed the session.

It should be like an arch, starting at the beginning of your eye to a little past the end of your eye. Not too thin eiether!

To look more feminine, you should also wear makeup, obviously. Dont go too heavy at first if youre not used to wearing it. Essentials: Foundation, blush, lip gloss, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara.

Well you can put make up on like blush, eyeliner, ect. Just don't put so much on. New hairstyles like up in a ponytail, braids and back in a clip or curl it if you hair is straight if its curly straiten it. If you don't like it don't keep it. Your friends and your mom might have some ideas of hairstyles. Lipgloss is also fun to wear and makes you more feminine. Jewlery like necklaces, earings and such. If you wear glasses contacts could help but they get annoying at times. Oh they also have people who teach you how much make up to wear and what type is best for you. Ask your mom about that.

For the make-up department remember one thing --don't overdo it. The secret to wearing makeup is to make it look like you arent wearing any after all! maybe put some casual perfume on, try out different sweet scents from your favorite stores. put on some light shades of eye-shadow, BUT LIGHTLY and don't get carried away! maybe put on a touch of blush or foundation etc. As for the hair, you could put some curlers in or perm it if your hair is straight and you dont like it. If you feel the color is boring gets some high-lights to liven things up a little! Express yourself through your crowning beauty--your hair. Maybe add some clips or barettes and get funky with different styles you can make up. Me, myself spend hours in front of the mirror creating new styles and it's so much fun! Try it sometime. Good luck. I hope I helped. <3

Try getting some makeup, starting with foundation. Try mary kay, they have some for about every skin tone. And then go to the mall or something and one of those stores that have makeup laying out to use and see how you like it until you find a color that looks great on you. As for hair, it depends on the length. If it's long and all, try curling it and go to Claire's and buy some neat hair accessories for variety. Hope I helped. Merry Christmas and a happy new year! =]
