Do you think the reason people only dwell on comments that were made to them because the comments made to them is on the topics they are sensitive about and not on the ones they are NOT sensitive about.
Like if you aren't fat, but people tell you you're fat, you wont dwell on it. You'll just forget the comment cos you're not bothered by your weight.
But if you're conscious bout let's say your nose, you'll deff care bout what everyone has to say bout your nose cos you're insecure bout it. rick505 answered Monday December 25 2006, 3:12 am: People will dwell on topics for many different reasons. some have to do with sensitivity to the subject, some because of mental disorder. why someone dwells on a comment is not as important as how long, or how often they dwell and whether this dwelling is interupting normal life activity. Everybody does this to a small extent, but when it takes over your life, you have an obsession that needs to be handled professionally.
