Well, this guy and i have been messing around for about 3 years now. And hes 5 years older than me, but its become more intense. Like, now he wants me to sleep over and all that. But he has a girlfriend of two years, but he says he doesnt care about her. He basically just needs her for now because of work. Well, we are on the level of more than good friends and less than a couple, its confusing. I really have strong feelings about him, and i go over his house everynight and its not always about sex. I dont know if he is using me, and i really doubt it just because of how he acts towards me. I liked a guy.
We have one mutual friend, and I wanted the friend to drop a little hint to him, so I could test the waters and see what was up, how he reacted to it, etc.
Well, my friend did that today. She made the comment (after seeing me), "I think _____(my name) likes you." She said this to the guy.
The guy stares blankly for a second. And then goes "I don't believe you." And the friend goes "What?! Why don't you believe me? I'm telling you so." and the guy goes "I don't believe you, that's not possible.". Then some of the guys friends came, and he stopped talking.
I have a class with the guy, two periods later. In that class, I was sitting on a desk, waiting for class to start, and I happened to be looking at the door. He came in late, and was trying to sneak in past the teacher, so obviously, I was watching him. He sees me watching him, and gives me some awkward wave, and goes "Hey". I'm sitting about five feet away from him.
What does any of this mean? Any help would be nice. What should I do now? Should I tell him I know? Does he not like me?

theres a long story behind this, but ill make it short and get to the root problem of it all.
basically me and this one guy who have known eachother for a pretty long time, havent been talking for the past month or so.
it was his decision to stop talking all together, and honestly i dont really know the real reason why he wanted this.
i do know that he liked me a lot, i didnt like him. he said that i betrayed his trust with things, mainly he got mad when i hooked up with other guys.
i want to think that the reason why he doesnt want to be friends anymore is because he cant have me in the way that he wants me, but i cant help that.
but anyway, ive tried texting and calling him. but i can just tell by his voice and his hints about not returning my texts, that he seriously is over and done with me.
it hurts a lot, but i still really care for him, and i keep hoping that he will change his mind and come back to me so we could start new and fresh. but its not happening..
i guess my question is, what should i do about this whole thing? i cant seem to get this out of my head and its bugging the crap out of me.
its a lot harder to just forget about someone than i thought and it hurts.

Okay, well.. let's see I've liked this guy since the beginning of the year.. and it's the first year that i've known him for. And well my friend decides to tell him something that I don't know. So later on today, he asked one of my good friends heres a lay out of what he asked the convo between them:
