advice
I use body wash to clean down there and shave it but when I get out and look at my vagina, it looks red and irritated. It looks kind of dry as if it has goosebumps too, is there any way to prevent this? Anything like a certain waxing kit so you can't see the little hairs that still stick out and something good for cleaning your vagina that will moisturize and make it look fresh clean and not red? The reason why I am asking this is because I am sexually active and it doesn't seem like my partner has been satisfied with how my vagina is lately so I need lots of good advice for this.
First, your vagina is how your vagina is. If your partner doesn't like it, too bad. This should be about you and your health, not how it looks to someone else.
Stop using body wash to clean that area. Soap is probably what is making the area dry. Just use warm water.
The bumps are likely coming from shaving. There are a few ways to combat this. If you let the hair grow out a little before shaving it again, you'll get a much smoother shave. Don't shave any more than every other day. Make sure that your razor is very sharp. Using a dull razor can irritate the skin and may pull at the hairs rather than shave them off properly. Don't press down as hard with your razor. Just press enough for the razor to cut off the hair. Any harder and you could be irritating your skin.
Good luck!
(Rating: 4) Not saying he doesn't like it, his responses just aren't the same anymore. So it makes me wonder. And thanks for the advice, I was shaving every day so that was probably the problem. Would using shaving cream when I shave every other day make it dry and irritated?
