advice

What was that movie in the 90s (i think) ... it may have even been on lifetime. Where this woman, and I believe she was innocent, was stoned to death. It seemed like it wasn't a movie that was set in the "old times" but i could be wrong. All I remember is these two children (i think they were boys) picking names out of a box, and this woman's name was picked and her entire town began to stone her. Morbid, I know. But any ideas??

I don't know about a movie, but a similar story is out there called "The Lottery." Maybe that might help lead you towards the movie you are thinking of.
