I've known about this website since I was about 13 and I'm 20 now. One time I asked a question and the people who answered my question didn't give me any satisfying advice. One person I rated a 2 or 3 and they reported me for not rating them with a deserving number. I was younger at the time but as I recall, their advice sucked. Why did advicenators ban me from the website for a time and switch the rating on their feedback when their advice was probably the worst I've ever gotten? That's not right. I really don't get it. I am assuming you had another account, since this one has never had a warning ban.
If you will give me the name of the old account, I will look into it and give you an answer.
Usually, ratings aren't changed unless the advice was rated poorly just because it wasn't what you wanted to hear, or you used profanity in your feedback/called the person names or something along those lines.
There are several moderators, and there used to be many more. One reason there are fewer now is that some were removed for improperly handling such situations.
We had one person who used to make fun of every person they banned. Was here for years, wouldn't change their tune and had to be removed, sadly.
So, I don't know if this situation pre-dates mid 2005 when I took over the site, or not... but no matter what the deal, you now have me curious.
Get me the old username, or whatever you can remember about it (old e-mail addresses I might try looking up, etc) and I will see what I can find.

I asked that question several years ago, I wouldn't remember my old emails. I've had this one the past three years. If I remember, I'll get back to you. I didn't know that about the past moderators. Thanks for the advice.
