Hi there,
My first question/suggestion: Can you switch classes? If your teacher is no help, they obviously aren't "teaching," which is usually the point of you paying all that money to go to said class in the first place, right?
So, if that is possible, and even if you think it isn't, it may be if you approach your guidance people with this issue.
Ok, so either way, I do have some most excellent news for you: The second edition of Deborah Rumsey's Statistics for Dummies is coming out in May. You can pre-order it here:
http://www.amazon.com/Statistics-Dummies-Math-Science/dp/0470911085/ref=dp_ob_title_bk
... If you can't wait, you can buy the older edition.
There are many resources out there, one or more of which, statistically speaking, may be just what you need. ;-)
I hope you get in touch with your guidance folk and get out of that class.
Good luck, and remember: Stats CAN be fun... once you get the hang of it.

I'm in an accelerated program and my classes are only 8 weeks long so all of the information is crammed into those 8 weeks :/
But thank you so much, that's great advice :)
