I came here to answer computer questions. (This used to say "...and nothing more.")

What I meant was, I don't know how much help I would be with other things... NOT that I would be upset if you asked a non computer question!

No matter the subject, Ask Away! (I'll do my best.)

I'm not very good at economics, even though the instructions are right in front of me. I still don't understand what the topic is about... Or any type of major issue about the topic. Help? It says:

"A major concern of the Federal Reserve is to maintain stable prices. It attempts to do so through influencing the money supply and interest rates. You are to examine the impact and consequences of both inflation and deflation.

Address the following areas in your presentation:
Identify the causes of both inflation and recession or deflation.

Identify the ways inflation and deflation can damage the economy and the society
What policies can the Federal Reserve use in trying to prevent inflation or deflation in the macro economy?

What are some of the short term uncertainties and longer run risks in using these policies ? If you must accept a tradeoff between higher prices or fewer jobs, which is the better choice and why?

Your response should be a minimum of 750 words and should cover the bullet points above. You are expected to have a least two references (include URL) and at least two responses to fellow students." (link)
Edit as per your feedback:

Where can you get help? From your teacher. "...but you really need to go to your teacher and let them know this."

Your teacher should be able to help you get up to speed. That is what they are there for. They should also be able to set up tutoring for you, or point you in the right direction.

--------

There really isn't a way to explain this to you without you just copying and pasting what people would answer as your finished project. Perhaps that is why this wasn't answered. I think people thought you just wanted them to do your homework for you. I understand that isn't the case.

It comes down to this: You don't understand the material. That is fine, but you really need to go to your teacher and let them know this.

I could answer this question, but it wouldn't end up helping you. If you don't understand the question, the answer doesn't help. :)

Worse yet, if you answer this without understanding what you are doing, you move on to WAY more complicated things and will be even more lost than you are now.

You may need some tutoring on this topic, and that is nothing to be ashamed of. Economic studies are brutal. There is a great deal to know, and it is one of the thing you will learn in school that will help you more than almost anything else through the rest of your life.

Get some serious help with this, and you will never regret it.

Thanks! I'll be sure to find some help, because my teacher wasn't able to help me. =T
