advice

I have the Nikon D5000 and I want to get a new lense for Christmas but I'm not sure what to get!
(I often take pictures of nature, people, and macro type photos.)
Any suggestions? :)

I have a Canon t2i, and recently got a 50 mm f/1.8 lens. It was only about 100 dollars, and it is great for portraits.
