i want to learn a song on acoustic as i sing it also. but i dont know which song would match my voice well and would be easy to play. first off im 15/f and my voice matches somewhat to amy lee from evanescence and then also to alter bridge and rise against?.. im average. but any ideas of easy guitar songs and or singing. thanks!
Hmmm Amy Lee? If you can sing like her you can sing anything.
Avril Lavigne- Nobodys home; Is a really simple song. All you need to know is the Em, D, G, C chords. Here's the link to the tab

Ultimate-guitar.com is the best site ive found for tabs. If you like Taylor swift you should look her up; pretty much all of her songs are basic.
I listen to alot of rock so if you could give me any band names i could tell you what songs are easy to learn by them.
Gl and for "Nobodys Home" i recommend you use a variation of the Em 022033 instead of 022030
Sorry about that; the numbers are for where to place your fingers. I know it's a little complicated but I'll give you a example.
The A chord would be 022200 right? You would put your fingers covering the 5th, 4th, and 3rd strings on the second fret (the thinnest string is the 1st string). So for the variation of the Em (E Minor) chord I was talking about it would be 022033; you covering the 5th and 4th strings on the second fret and the 2nd and 1st string on the 3rd fret.
Hope I cleared that up for you; if you don't understand pick up the guitar and go step by step. Gl
(Rating: 5) thankyouu, but i dont understand what you mean by em 022033?
