Very helpful tool :D
advice
I have to write an essay to get into a program at my school. I am normally good at writing, but I have no idea how to start this essay. I am supposed to write about my experience with physical therapy and how i got interested in the field..any ideas? i'm just looking for an opening statement
I wrrote an essay about my internship as a student athletic trainer and i believe it's what got me into college.
My approach when I'm writing essays that's essentailly competing with lots of people is to be different. For example, i made my essay into a story. So i would tell a part of a story on a typical day of me helping my athletes with their injuries and such and then talk about how helping them made me realize my love for medicine.
I would suggest something like that. So for your opening statement, you can start with a dialogue. This depends on how strict the essay is supposed to be. But, a dialogue is a great way to show expression through voice. Then your dialogue can lead to you writing the essay.
I would also suggest writing about what gets you excited in the field. If you have passion for what you are writing about, it shows and people liek reading it. They get impressed.
I really hoped that helped and I hope you get into that program, best of luck!
(Rating: 5) good idea...thanks!
