I really like Iron Maiden. Any bands out there with similiar sound that i may not have heard of?

I am not sure what you have heard of, so I will just list some of stuff I have that is roughly in the same genre: Judas Priest, Dio, Saxon, Running Wild, Helloween, Manowar, and Samson.

If you want more inspiration most bands that were part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal bear at least some similarity. The wikipedia entry has a list apparently:

Hmmm, I see there are a few bands on there that are really far off the Maiden sound, but hopefully the list will be of some use to you.
