advice

a lot of my friends are smoking. i know its a bad thing to do...yet i still want to try it. can i have your opinion with an explanation to back it up please?

You know it's bad, so don't do it.

Smoking once drastically increases your chances of getting lung cancer. And, the more you smoke, obviously, the more of a chance you have.

There are so many statistics out there that can prove why smoking is bad, but, the best one, for you at least, since I'm assuming you're not 18 because you said it was bad, is that it's illegal.

I bet you're 13-16, and you want to try smoking because of peer pressure. Well, guess what? The moment you give in is the moment your friends realize they can get you to do a lot more than you're probably willing to. Take a stand and tell your "friends" how STUPID they are for smoking. It's not even cool, and I don't understand why anyone would do it. Since when is a bunch of smoke traveling through your lungs FUN?

I'll tell you what it is: suicide.

If you do decide to smoke, have fun killing yourself. And, you'll get addicted and won't be able to stop, without a lot of stressful work behind it.
