about
I'm a mother of 2 boys who are 13 months apart. Talk about a handful. I'm a wife to the best husband I could have ever dreamed of.I'm one of the very blessed.
I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.
Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.
Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.
I'm one of the lucky ones.
I'm honest, and that can either be a perk or s flaw. Depends on how you choose to look at it.
I like to see it as a perk, because it's better to hear the truth than to be told candy coated bullshit.
advice
hello there! well, my friend went to a tarot card reading today. it more so told her about her present, the person verified a lot of things.things like-your in a difficult relationship-"your boyfriend isn't phisically abusive but mentally" and was like "if you do not get out of the realtionship this will be you (she flipped the card over and it was a cloaked person). She continued to say "You will be unhappy and lonely with him, i'm am worried for you" then she said something like "however if you do decide to leave him.." (she then flipped over a card that had some kind of happy thing in it- don't remember) "you will be happy and victorious". (its more detailed, but thats just the basic things that the tarot reader said)
now, granted the person doing the tarot card pretty much nailed her boyfriend right on the money- he's either nice or mean, mentally abusive at times. but he's gotton a lot better since then. shes been thinking of breaking up with him, but feels like she can't because its been a year since they've been going out. he's gotten a lot better, and their relationship is really better than ever. but this reading just assured her of breaking up with him- (i don't actually believe in tarot cards, if you haven't guessed- honestly- they just tell you what you already know.- it's freaky that the person knew that, but the future has limitless possibilities.)
the lady was like "you have to decide between the two decisions given to you"
Yet i do think that theres more than just two decisions in this.(leaving her boyfriend or staying with him) And i don't want her to just throw something away because of this "reading". The thing is- i don't know how to tell her/proove to her that theres more than just those two outcomes, and how this reading really isn't the thing that should decide her future with him.how do i explain to her? any help with this? (shes 17, hes 18) thank you!
Ok, so you don't believe in tarot...
Does she?
What you believe in or don't matters not when it comes to what she believes in, and vise versa. To her, this reading may decide her future. Though you are her friend, it is NOT up to you to judge what she believes in.
Just because you don't believe in something doesn't mean someone who believes differently is wrong.
In fact, the one to learn what is right and wrong in her life is her. As her friend, you're just there for her in the good and bad times.

(Rating: 5) well i agree,of course it doesn't matter what my beliefs are;its not the issue. i just don't want this one thing to judge if she should break up with someone who she's been with for a year and loves, when they're relationship is as healthy as it is right now. but thanks for the input!
