I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.


Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.


Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.

I'm honest, and that can either be a perk or s flaw. Depends on how you choose to look at it.
I like to see it as a perk, because it's better to hear the truth than to be told candy coated bullshit.

Ok, here gos.
My Bestfriend "Jess" go dumped by her boyfriend "Frank"... for his Ex girlfriend... like a month ago or something.

"Jess" still really likes him. She talks about him all the time!

When they were going out, he was tellin me things like: "I really like you!" and "If I wasnt going out with 'jess' I'd totally go out with you."

I didn't even like him then...
But I really like him now!

But i know if i go out with him, "Jes" will get really angry.

what to do?

I'd say bypass on this guy.

FIRST. Your best friend still has feelings for him. You'd hurt her A LOT if you pursued this guy. Dating a friend's ex is a touchy thing in it's own, but when they still harbor feelings for that ex, you're dangerously flirting with being disrespectful.

SECOND. He's obviously a jerk who you really don't want to keep company with. Think about it. While he was dating your best friend, he kept saying "If it wasn't for her, I'd be with you."
That, my dear, is a jerk.

This leads me to give you a question to ask yourself: Would you want your boyfriend saying that to another girl?

If you go out with this guy, not only will you do potentially serious damage to your friendship with your best friend, but he will likely say those things to other girls behind YOUR back. If he's willing to talk that way behind your back, what else is he willing to do?

Come on. Both you and your friend deserve a guy FAR better than that.
