Hey I'm the same person who talked about peiricings and keyloids... but my other question about is.. does anyone have keyloids but have their lip peirced? because i want my lip peircd but it would be horrible to get a keyloid there.. so woudl that happen, could it happen?
thanks (link)
When you have keloid type skin, you always run the risk of developing a keloid scars from acts of "trauma" like that of a piercing. That's not to say that you will have one every time; however, bear in mind it is possible. If you get your lip pierced and you do develop a keloid scar from it, the only way it will go down or away is if you remove the piercing. If you were to get your lip pierced you also run the risk of it hurting badly there, so that's something to consider. Just remember, even if you do it there is usually a way to get rid of it (i.e.: removing it), but it's your call. :)
