me and my friend are both head over heels for this guy
and he broke up with her for me. we both feel terrible i really like him
so today he asked me to be his valentine

ladies... if you know what i mean ( whenever you talk to someone you fall in love with them)

so she thinks she is being really selfish because she cant get over him and she doesn't want me to get mad at her
i understand how she would feel horrible. but i also think that she needs to move on

i really like this kid and she loves him.
what should we do???

You need to talk this out with both your friend and the guy. If this is going to affect your friendship with her, is it really worth it?? You need to decide who means more to you and which relationship you value more. It's true, you can't really pick who you love and sometimes things happen. You have to be sensitive about her feelings though. If she says she really loves him, she probably is going to have a difficult time with this. You have to take your feelings into consideration also. If you truly love him and really want to be with him, then maybe you should try things after you talk with your friend about it. Guys come and go but best friends stay. Talk to him and see where your relationship is headed. If it's just going to be a short term fling, it might not even be worth all of the drama.
