What there to say about me? I'm 27 and a graduate of UCSD. Throughout my life most of my close friends have been girls so I have a unique perspective on relationships and sex. I know a lot about computers as well as random stuff in general. Feel free to ask me anything and I'll answer it to the best of my knowledge.

Hey, it's Igotamonopoly.

I am starting to do the whole college visit thing, and visiting UCSB made me realize that I have no idea where I want to go, and I don't know how to find the college that is the perfect fit for me.

I used to want to go to USC, but that's a commuter school, and definitely not what I'm looking for.

What other schools did you consider? How did you choose UCSD? (link)
I applied to UCSD, UCI, UCSB, Berkeley, and Mesa as my safety. Got into all but Berkeley. I've lived in San Diego most of my life, and UCSD was my first choice, since I wouldn't have to move and it would be cheaper. I didn't even bother visiting the other campuses. As far as the academics go, the UCs (other than Berkeley) are pretty similar, some may be better in one major or another, and thats what you should focus on, which school is best for your major, the rest is frills. If you are looking for a pretty campus, or a school with good parties, you can always visit a campus even if you don't go to the school.
