i really do not know. please enlighten me and clear up my misunderstangs. why are gas prices rising? did bush invade iraq to get gas for US so we wouldnt have to worry about this but its happening anyway? i dont think i have the facts straight and i dont know what news sources to trust. (link)

Aside from everything theymos mentioned, theres one other major factor. the value of the dollar is going down. now domestically, we arent noticing it as much, but since oil is bought entirely from another country, they want more dollars for it, since dollars arent worth as much anymore (also thanks to the war and other bad economic decisions)
