so this may seem like a dumb question but im wondering how to cuddle with guys. I feel like every time i lay on their sholder or chest or something im like cutting off the circulation to their arm. Im not a big girl at all, i just dont want him(or me) to feel uncomfortable.

Just ask, "Hey, are you uncomfortable? I'm not hurting you am I?" If he says no it's fine, then you have nothing to worry about. If he says yes, then think of a better solution.

Cuddling is so easily compromised, there is no wrong way to do it. Just do what feels natural. It could be just sitting there close and holding hands, or laying down with your head on his chest. The possiblities are pretty much endless, but the only thing to remember is: communication is key in all relationships. If you want to know how he feels, it's best to ask him. He may adore that you are leaning on his shoulder or chest. Good Luck!!
