My grandfather who lives in Portugal is pretty much a big deal there and well rich haha. And he likes to buy expensive gifts. Like last year for Christmas, he bought me and my sister a GameCube, and for my birthday he got me this really nice $500 digital camera. This year, I really want the iPod Touch (not iPhone), so I want him to buy me itt =]. BUT, if he bought it in Portugal, and sent it here, would it work the same here? Or would he have to buy it here?
This is from Wikipedia-
"As of September 2007, Apple has opened 194 [1] stores, including 172 in 36 US states, ten in the United Kingdom, seven in Japan, and four in Canada. Recently, Apple opened its first store in continental Europe, in Rome."
Since Portugal is near Europe, there's a pretty good chance he can buy it from an Apple store. It would be a lot easier to buy it online though. Talk to him about it & see what he can do. If you need an additional information, try Apple's website.
