okay well our school's having the homecoming dance on friday ocotbber 19th and im a freshman so im new at it. that day is also my birthday, so what i was going to do was go to the football game, then homecoming dance and then go out to eat with a bunch of my friends. does this sound like a good idea? what are some ideas i could do for my birthday?

what do you usually wear to homecoming ? is it all fancy? or is it just something casual? since it's my birthday im going to be either wearing a crown, or maybe a pin that says birthday girl or something because i want to celebrate my birthday too!

Yes, your idea sounds fun for your birthday. You could maybe also have a sleepover after and watch teen movies dealing with school dances and stuff.

As for what you should wear, ask someone at your school. Most homecomings are semi-formal and you wear short dresses and guys wear nice pants and a nice shirt. However, some are casual, so as I said, ask around.

I advise not wearing a crown to homecoming. A senior girl is crowned Homecoming Queen at homecoming, and she gets to wear a crown. She will probably be annoyed with a random freshmen wearing a crown because it's supposed to be her special night, sort of. Wearing the birthday girl pin will be a much nicer idea. :]
