Okay. So theres this guy..D..we dated in the past. An recently we broke up. A couple weeks after we broke up I started missing him..dearly. He came over today. We, kinda, had sex. This wasnt the first time either. I know I should be trying to get over him. But I love him. So So So Much. The Problem is..he doesnt want a relationship but he also says he doesnt want to lose me. I want him to be happy. I just love him soo much. I don't know what to do.. help me..please
Can you say "jerk"?! Basically what he's saying is that he doesn't want to put the time and effort into spending time with you, getting to know you as a person, and giving you the love and attention you deserve, but he wants to have sex with you. Does this seem fair to you? You think you love him, and maybe you do, but you shouldn't waste your time on somebody who doesn't love you back. Just tell him, straight up, you're not going to let yourself be used, and forget about him! It gets easier as you go along! Just think to yourself every day that you don't need that, you're better off without him, and find something to do on your own, like working out, writing, art, anything. You are responsible for your own happiness, not his. He needs to learn that he can't always get what he wants, and he can't treat people that way, and you're just the person to teach him.
