i need advice on how not to be afraid of doctors' needles. i have to get them in a month and im scared of injections

I heard that the only way to get over your fear is to face it. Maybe just buy a needle or something like it so you can observe it and see it for what it is, just a needle. Think that you don't need to be scared of it, its good for you because it helps you for illness. Just face it even if its hard because you will have to sooner or later.
