advice

i want a belly button ring sooo bad. but my mom said no. i need advice on how to get my mom to say yes. i also need some tips like: does it hurt, what EXACTLY will happen, and etc. Plz help me!

How old are you? See I just got mine done and im 14. My mom said I can get it for my graduation. Maybe if you have a special occasion coming up tell your mom. Like a birthday? If your birthday isn't soon then maybe ask if you can wait till then to get it done. You don't want to piss her off about it though so don't be mean. Tell her that it's nothing big and you'll pay for it (if you can.. then thats one less thing she needs to do). When I got mine done it was only $50. You don't need to get a really nice ring either because you can just get a plain one for cheaper then change it. It does hurt some amount of pain. For me, they had to clamp the skin so they can have an easier way to put it in and the clamp hurts more than the piercing itself. Its pretty much pinching your skin. Then I was told to take a deep breath in, then out and they pieced it. It hurt 6 outa 10 in my opinion. But its bearable. The guy told me to clean it 2 times a day with good soap, like Lever 2000. They should explain how to take care of it. The only part that hurts me of right now, is when I bump it hard on something cause it is still kind of tender. Good luck =)
