What traits do girls look for in guys? What would your ideal guy be like? (link)

Well, I can't speak for every female alive, but I can tell you what I like.
I like guys
who are kind of shy, but are willing to stand up for themselves and me if need be.
who will tell me what they're actually thinking when I ask them a question, even if they think it might hurt my feelings.
who will let me cry on their shoulder, and they aren't embarassed about crying on mine.
who are up for new things and don't just stick to the same old thing.
who are nice to their female relatives; it shows that he will be sweet to me.
who will try to help me even when they know they can't.
who don't treat me like dirt just because their friends are around. I mean, you don't have to hold my hand and croon in my ear the whole time, but you don't have to treat me like your maid or something when they're around.
who have their own opinions and have no problem telling people what they are.
who will fight for me. I don't mean 'punch that other guy in the nose and kick him in the crotch" kind of fighting. I mean the kind where he never stops trying until I forgive him or he finally wins my heart.
