does anyone have any good tips on how to straighten your hair with a hair straightener (of course)and make it pin straight?

When I straightening mine its usually really straigh, as you can see by my picture hah. Ususally when I get out of the shower at night I blow dry it, then go to sleep. I have my straightener, a good one too (look at stores for good ones, ask employees if you need to). I put up half of my hair and leave the lower layers down. I do my hair layer by layer to make sure its all straight. Don't take huge chunks if you want it to be straigh, take smaller pieces as big as your straighteners plates can hold. I don't really used products I just am a perfectionist kinda. So the smaller the amount you straighten is important, but not like 3 strands of hair.
