Okay. So there's this guy at school, who's in tenth grade. His name is Tyler, and I'm in ninth grade. We both know we like each other, but I only met him 2 weeks ago. And he was telling my best friend that he wants to ask me out TONIGHT! But the problem is, I like him and all but I feel like things are moving way too fast. So how do I let him down easily without shoving him away?

Just tell him you want to take things slow. That doesn't mean you can't go out with him. You like him so him asking you out should be a good thing. Going on one date doesn't mean you have to get married to the guy. Just have fun.
