My name is Rae. I live in Colonie. I go to CCHS asa freshman. I'm 14, my birthday is October 7th (( tomorrow from wen im writing this lol )). I help my friends out with advice ALL the time and i'm pretty good at it. I keep an open mind and make sure i give people as many options and opions that i have for them. I'll try to come on here everday, but if i dont i may have computer problems, charging my laptop, working on a website, or currently dealing with my own problems. I want to open up to you guys and relate your problems to mine. I may be young but i have gone through a lot in my life, as well as seen people i'm very close to go through the same problems you are. I'm actually really bad at solving my own problems... which is probably why i'm good at solving other peoples.
There are a lot of useless random info about me and i dont want to bore you anymore haha. but if ya wanna no more e-mail me, IM me, or jus ask a question lol. thanx

I have a problem of staying on top of things at school. I study, but I freak out on tests. I make a schedule but I rarely ever follow it, and when I come in for extra help it's never worthwhile because I just end up doing worse.
My point is, I need GREAT, EXPERIENCED, and PROVEN advice on how to ace tests and assignments (OK maybe not "ace" it, but rather do dramatically better). Also, give me some great techniques, like for example I heard chewing gum helps you stay awake and attentive on tests, and helps you do better with thinking of answers more effectively.
Also, advice on my "procrastination" problem would be nice as well.
Thanks in advance!!!

Well I`m gonna give you the best advice youll ever get. You ready? Theres NO sure fire way to do good on a test. No secrets or anything. You can study forever, but if you dont truly UNDERSTAND what your studying, it wont help. Everyone is different, and some things might help you stay focussed. But try studying a LITTLE bit everynight leading up to a test. Have someone quiz you or do flashcards. if you can fid a way to make it fun it makes things a lot easier. If you listen to classical music its supposed to make you more aware of your sub conscience. I think its bull, but scientists have proven it. Also ask lots of questions in class and always go with your first instinct. If you think A first go with it. The more someone thinks about something the more you second guess yourself. Good Luck!
Also, I procrastinate more that anyone else, TRUST ME. Basically theres nothing anyone can do to help except you. Try going home and getting everything done first, i know.. hard. u procrastinate. Or try doing some fun things and THEN working. Its hard to help, since I have the same problem.
