I work as a Customer Laison Complaints Case Officer at a major insurance company, where I have worked for 3 years. I left school when I was 17, as I had some very bad experiences at school and wanted to see what the real world had to offer.

I now live with my boyfriend of 3 years and spend my spare time reading, writing, socialising with friends or just watching some TV.

Times are still hard and I'm trying to cope with various health problems on a daily basis but I'm working my way through things and really want to stop it from getting me down.

I dream of some day going to America and watching a real baseball game (we don't have that at all in the UK) and perhaps finding a job I find creatively fulfilling. Until then, I'm happy trying to be me and making the best of what I have.

Alrighty i like to straighten my hair and i was wondering if anybody knows of any kind of Straighten balm or stuff you put in youre hair before you blow dry it that will make it soft and straighten it?

And does anyone know of a good conditioner? I need one my hair isnt dead but its a little dry i guess you can say. Any ideas?

thank you (link)
Generally, I find that Sunsilk No Kinks (the purple one) works really well, especially when you dry it straight after applying it. It keeps your hair nice and soft and unlike a lot of serums, it doesn't make your hair greasy, sticky or crunchy afterwards.

As for conditioners, the best one I can recommend is Aussie Three Minute Miracle. It's incredible and I can honestly say my hair has never looked or felt better than since I started using it. My one piece of advice is that if your hair is very dry, leave it on a little longer than the stated three minutes. I find 5-8 minutes works best. Also, wash your hair with a jet of cold water after you've washed it. I couldn't tell you why but it really helps to improve manageability and shine.
