Yes, you can put antibiotics on it and if it's not too serious, put Alcohol on it. It may sting a little but it kills the germs so it can't get infected.
As long as you care for it properly, it will heal. I recommend going to a local drug store and getting some antibiotics that heal the sore without leaving a scare!
