I have been with my boyfriend for 5 months. I like him alot and want to spend time with him. He on the other hand likes to spend alot of time alone. I wouldn't see for a week or longer and I was starting to get really sad. I asked him about it and he said that while he loves me, he just needs time to himself. I told him that I needed to spend time with him and go out and stuff and he agrred to see me more often.

I want to feel connected to him, but he wants to go home everytime I start to feel happy and start to feel connected to him. He won't spend the night. I know he is NOT cheating and he only works part time. All of his friends say that he has always been like this. I am afraid that there I will get to a point where I want more than he is willing to give me. He is great to me otherwise and we have a wonderful time whenever we are together. I know we haven't been together that long, I just am not sure what to do.

I think you should tell him exactly how you feel. If he respects your point of view than...great! if you both want to make this work, you have to compromise.

(Rating: 5) Thank you. I kind of already knew that, I think I just really wanted to hear it from someone else. Thank you.
