Well, first of all you should never do something because for someone else. Make your choices based on YOU and want makes YOU happy. That's what really matters. Secondly, if the two of you are close enough to be able to have sex with each other, you should be able to discuss things like what he prefers and doesn't as well as what you prefer and don't. So, try talking to him if you really care about what he wants. Just whatever you do, realize sex is a HUGE thing and y'all need to be PROTECTED and SAFE. :)
