I love playing piano, clarinet, in general I just love music, and I love to write and read, poetry especially, and I love mathematics, physics, and oceanography. I've been told I'm mature for my age, but I don't know, I just think that a person has to be who they are, true to themselves, and not worry about what fits into an age group. I love simply living as best as I can, working when I have to, and having fun. It's all in your perspective. Hey guys, this is gonna sound really retarded, but I'll ask anyway. Well it started when my brother asked me if I'd read the harry potter books and I said no, they're really stupid. But then he convinced me to read them, and now I'm on the 5th book. I really like them, it's kind of funny, because I always thought they were stupid. But anyway, I'll get to my question. My best friend likes them too, so we wanna have a harry potter party. I know, we're so stupid! So does anyone know what we can do, other than watch the movies and stuff? We already decided on making shirts. I'm making mine say I love Snape. Haha, don't ask. Is there anything else we can do though? Thank you!!
lol, you've come to the expert in all things Harry Potter. Ironically, before I read them five million times, I thought they were stupid as well ;). Anyways, I'm hosting an HP party at the library where I work, and here's what I'd suggest. Sort your friends into Houses, and then do HP trivia, to win house points. (It would work with just two people, more is cool, but with two you can have a Gryffindor/Slytherin face-off :) ). Discuss your best prophecy theories, if you haven't read the 6th one yet, and theories on Snape...he's one of the most important characters, I like your shirt ;). Also, you'll /never/ guess who the Half-Blood Prince is. Well, back to the party. Make snacks that are related to the book. Cockroach clusters are good, (carmel, chocolate and pretzels mashed together), licorice wands (licorice), go to the page in Prizoner of Azkaban that tells you all the sweets that Honeydukes has, and use your imagination. :) And there's always those Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans...vomit and Horseradish flavored ones are NOT for the weak stomached. P.S. After reading other answers, I would like to note that Ron does NOT kill Hermione, although there's an interesting story there...:) Also, I think dressing up as your fav. character is a great idea.
