Q: okay one of my best friends and i have dated before and we still care about each other even though we're not together anymore. we still care about each other a lot..but everytime i try to tell him that i still care about him and that no matter what happens to our relationship i'm always gonna be here for him..but everytime i try to tell him that he just pushes me away by saying whatever, sure, or mmmmhmmm...it's driving me crazy cause i'm always trying to make the situation better but he just makes it worse..it kills me to know that i'd do anything for him but he doesn't even care..if i had to i'd go lay infront of a car for him..i just wish he wouldn't push me away so much..PLEASE HELP!! i really love this kid!

Honey,
this means that he's still upset about break-up and even though, you're telling him you care about him, he doesn't want to get hurt and he doesn't want YOU to get hurt either.
He's just a little upset and embarassed and sad from the break-up. Even if HE broke up with YOU, he's still upset because he's not over you.
If YOU broke up with HIM, he's definitly sad because he most likely loved you and you broke his heart but I don't know if you broke up with him or he broke up with you.
Either way, it's just a phase and he'll get over it in a snap. Let him regain his trust for you. The best thing you can do right now is to wait a little bit because you should probably just be friends right now. I'm not saying you can't SECRETLY love him ;-). Just don't put that much pressure on him.
