Me and my boyfriend had a massive argument and he hit me. he has never done that before and he was really sorry and said he loves me i broke up with him and he wants me back should i go back to him or move on.

Move On! Dont even think of giving him another chance. Is a guy that hits you really worth your time. Thats abuse. He may say hes sorry and maybe he even means it, but whats that to stop him next time. He probably has temper issuse or trouble with his emotions, and his strength gets the best of him. Him saying I love you, He may mean it or it could just be one of the im sorry I hit you but I love you, excuses to get you back. If he even possibly came close to loving you, He never would have hit you. Theres absolutely no excuse for hitting someone during an argument especially if you " love them " think about it, would you hit somebody you loved just because of an argument? He dug himself a hole that he cant get out of, he knows he hit you, he knows it was wrong, he says he loves you, but theres no reason or excuse for hitting you. Nobody should have to take that. I say just move on. If you take him back and maybe a month later you have another bigger argument, He might hit you harder and/or hurt you badly. Once it happens once, theres no telling if he wont do it again. So I hope I helped! I hope things get better soon! ♥
