Hi, I have been talking to this guy online.....I really like him..he asked me out and I said yes. DOnt worry I have no intentions on meeting him anytime soon.But i dont know if I should tell my friends about him because they think talking to people online that you dont know is wrong..and i know they will probably get mad at me and think I am crazy. He has sent me a picture...but should I trust him that its actually him? And whats your opinion on online dating?
What should I do??

I am not saying that it doesn't work, but I personaly think online dating is a bad idea. Especially for young girls. There are so many weirdos out there, and teens are their main target. The problem is, you really never know who you can trust. No matter how nice they seem, you really don't know who they are. I think you should forget about dating and just stay online friends. If you do decided to meet, do it in a familar public place and with a few people you know.
