My boyfriend is a punk and i am like a cheerleader and im like a prep and stuff i dont know if i shold break up with him because later on in life i mean we might not work because he is a punk and he told me to choose him or cheerleading i am half hawaiian so like i have been doing hceerleading since i was 5 and surfing since i was 2

Hey Sweetie!! The first thing that caught my attention was when you typed that he is making you choose between him and cheerleading. And that definitely puts you in such an awkward place right now, deciding which one you want better. But to me that is just not right. There should never be a time when your boyfriend makes you give up something just to be with him.
In this case you should talk to him about that. You love him, and you love your cheerleading and surfing..it's a part of who you are and it is something you enjoy. You wouldn't say to your boyfriend which one is it, your music..or me? Hunnie if you love something...go for it. Never give up on something you love because someone thinks differently. This is YOUR life and you do what you want to do. If he loves you and wanted to be with you enough he should understand this.
So you are a cheerleader/prep and he is a punk? How long have you been dating him? In my opinion if he resepcts what you told him about how you love your cheerleading and surfing and he comes to realize that he shouldn't let you choose I would give it a chance. Sometimes it's unbelieveable how differences between you and other people make you love the person because of the different things you do. And also, you'll try and learn new things. It's kind of like me and my boyfriend. We have our differences but we just learn from them. And it is so much fun!!! One night we'll go to a concert or i'll preform on stage with him because he is in a band and then the next night we will go to the beach and just party.
