Hey! My name is Kathryn and I am 14. I live in a suburb of Chicago.
I would say that I am a very friendly, loving, adventurous, helping, funny, crazy, outgoing, kinda person.
Some of my intrests include hanging out and talking to friends, helping people, playing soccer, playing basketball, playing ddr, going online, listening to music, drawing, going shopping, reading, and watching movies.
I just love giving people advice and helping them with their problems...I want to either be a counselor or social worker when I grow up.
I try my best with answering questions, and I hope that I can help you!

Hi. I am 13 years old and I am on the computer a loottttt. All of a sudden things started blanking out when I was on the computer. You know how if you stare straight you can still see things on the right and left of you? Well on my left eye, I cant really see anything to my left when I'm looking straight. Its like blurry. And if I focus on something for example this word....dog.... if I focus on the g the d a o dissapear and then theres only a g with a white backround there. Basically when I focus on anything everything around disappears. And when I stare straight I cant see my arm. Its just not there. But it really is I just cant see it. So, I cant really see anything unless I focus on one thing. And if I watch tv and for instance if I see a face, I cant see their body. Its really weird, and Its hard to explain. Do you think I'm going blind? If I went to an eye doctor what would they do? This is VERY scary and its really freaking me out! Help me please!!! This has never happend before. (link)

I think that you might have something called having no Peripheral vision...It's where when u look straight ahead you can't see anything to the sides of you. I'm not positive though so you might want to go to a doctor or eye doctor so they can check it out.
I hope that this helps

Is it a turnoff if a girl asks a guy out???
And can you like kinda clarify... i really need help... anyone... i rate high

I think that it is okay for a girl to ask out a guy. It just shows him you probably have a bold, not shy personality for having the courage to ask him out. I think they will actually appreciate it because you know some guys are shy too. I say go for it and ask your guy out!

I hope I helped

Hey!
If your leg is hurting that bad that you don't think you could play....then don't! I know you will probably feel like you are letting your team down, but it is better then really injuring yourself more by pushing yourself to play harder. I suggest that you just sit out this game, but play in the next one if your leg feels better then.

I hope this helps
P.S. If you are really feeling bad bout letting your team down, maybe ask someone to take you to your game so you can watch and cheer your team on.

Well, I think I might be spotting (Menstruely lol) when I use the bathroom my undergarments are covered with a mixed waste...when I wipe, i get alot, or a little, blood on my toilet paper, sorry if im too graphic...anyway, I havent started my period yet (I'm 13). Do you think this is spotting? or do i have a problem? (link)
|
Congratulations! I think that you have just started your period. The first time I got my period (when I was 11) There was no blood on my underwear...but just like you I had some blood on the toilet paper when I wiped. That is pretty normal. Try to talk to your mom or another trusted adult about it and ask them for some pads or tampons (pads are easier for your first time).
Good luck

my best friend is ditching me for her boyfriend, hes basically taking my place and i feel like she just wants to be with him and doesnt care about me anymore.. and i was wondering if anyone knows any songs, quotes, or lyrics that might have to deal with something like that.. or does anyone know any good quotes about life or changes (link)
|
well if your best friend dumped you for her bf, then i dont think that she is much of a friend. As for the lyrics and quotes...There's this song that's called 'since u been gone' by kelly clarkson. i really like it and i think that the lyrics kinda relate to what you are talking about. Here is part of the song:
But since you been gone
I can breathe for the first time
I'm so movin' on, yeah, yeah
Thanks to you, now I get, I get what I want
Since you been gone
You had your chance, you blew it
Out of sight, out of mind
Shut your mouth, I just can't take it
Again and again and again and again
i tryed my best and i hope that this helps.

okay well i just wrote a question about going on a diet togain weight since im only 100 pounds... well i was jw... but do guys prefer girls that are skinny... or girls of average weight?? (link)
|
Well i'm not a guy...but i think that it depends on the guy. some guys are really shallow and they only like skinny girls. I think a good bf wouldn't really care about your weight because there are more important things.

I think you should try and study with your friends. Maybe they know what you are learning and they can explain it to you easier. You can get a group of friends together and have a study party, because that might make it fun. Also maybe you could ask help from a teacher...i was afraid to try this before because i thought my teacher was going to think i was stupid...but he didn't and he actually helped me and explained a lot of the stuff we were working on in class.
I hope this helps

I think it sounds like you two used to be really close...but then you had a fight. I know how this feels because it happens to me a lot. If you really want to get back in touch with her, try to find her phone number by going on www.whitepages.com and typing either her or her parents names in. It will probably give you atleast her phone number and maybe even her address. Then you can either call her or write her and tell her how you feel now. I hope all things go well with you and your friend.

Hey gals,
to any of you who arent very close to your moms, how did you tell her when you started your period and how did she react? (link)
|
I think that you should just tell your mom that you got your period...trust me, it's not as bad as you think. She'll understand because all women go through the same thing...She'll probably be helpful and she won't even care!
hope that this helps
