Ok my question is about my prom.... there is this guy at my school, and last week he was hinting a lot about prom and me... for example we went to the mall and he picked out a prom dress for me and told me i looked great in it (i looked horrible) and lots of other little things, now that i am thinking about asking him this week hes changed a bit, a doesn't mention prom as much. Does he still want to go with me( or did he want to go in the first place)? should i ask him? and how should I? i just want to go as friends and have a good time, but i am afraid of rejection. every night i take a shower but every other night i use a shower cap and dont wash my hair. a few people at school said that its bad to wash your hair everyday. i know it strips the oils out but should i not wash it every night? should i not wash it 2 days in a row? my hair is really thick and after taking a shower, my hair gets frizzy. what are some ways i can prevent friz after taking a shower? also i straighten my hair every morning but i dont like burning it so much, i just hate having it so frizzy when i wake up. so, what are some ways i can keep the friz down after taking my shower (and the results will last long through the day).

Use baby oil. Its cheep and effective. the best thing to use is a cotton ball or pad. if not if you have an old rag taht you can ruin, that works too! if you dont know where the baby oil is ((a lot of people own it if you dont its pretty cheet)) ask an adult.

okay so here is my story. my parents had me before they got married..but they got separated before that so i guess im technically a love child-but anyways thats not the point.
what my question is, is who should i live with as i go into my first year of high school???
let me give you a bit of an updated backround before you answer this not-easy question...
~dads house~ dad, stepmom, and stepbrother (17)
PROS: no crying babies, more alone time, more time with me/my dad, more attention(more like atleast some attention), good healthy food, spending money, dad usually takes me places on the weekends
CONS: i dont get to see my sisters grow up, i probably break the small contact that ive had with my mom to almost zero and i may be homesick because ive always lived with her since the separation, dad will be popping any zits he sees on me (ouch!), my stepmom has these 'moments' when she gets really pissed off and doesnt talk to anybody and she slams doors and all that crap to let everyone know shes mad**that lasts for days**and it is unbearable!!, and i hate my room (but i understand that can be changed)
~moms house~ mom, stepdad, half sister (5), half baby sister (14 m)
PROS: i have friends here that i get to hang out with, i get to go to the bball court and 7/11 and Osco with a friend(walking distance), i looove my room, school has been good(friends, no enemies, good teachers, good year)*so i am in hope that the next will be just as much fun*
CONS: my mom and i have little contact(i always feel like im bothering her), i cant stand my sisters(their parents didnt raise them the right way)+ i have no say..i am yelled at for yelling at them when theyre bad*mainly the 4 yearold*, i have no say in anything, i only get to see my dad on the weekends, my mom is too overprotective of me, were moving after 8th grade(and not sure if im going to my designated high school)*that means new friends and new neighborhood*(ive moved alllot), not so good food(so i go to fastfood places and eat junk-not good), and no spending money + i havent been shopping in like 3-4 months, no one takes me anywhere..i always have to ask for a friends ride
alright well even though there may be a bit of a lopsided diference..some 2 things combined equal to one thing on another list (and they are both equally bad)..so if you can help me decide before i finish 8th grade..that would be great. and please explain..dont make it a MOM or DAD answer....thx soo much. ill rate high!!

I have this headache that is so bad that I end up crying. When I cry, that makes it worse. I know this sounds stubborn but I refuse to take medication. Does anyone have anything they do to get rid of headaches? Or at least make them feel slightly better?

I hate taking medison and i wont take it for headaches unless it lasts more than 3 days.. best thing to do is just get away from noise and take a nap and just drink some cool water.. hun i hope you feel better i know its hard but acualy, take some medds if its that bad, medison wont kill you i promise!

I dont know how many of you are catholic, but this year i am getting confirmed. Actually in like a week or so. And its suppose to be like dressed up nice, and like no jeans. Either nice pants, skirts, or dresses for the girls. well i wanted to wear a dress so i went to like Windsor, and DEB and stuff. And i found 3 dresses i really liked. Well one of them is kind of too dressy, so i'm gunna save it for Graduation. And one of them my sister hated so i just dont like it anymore either. And the last one could be perfect, but its kind of big in the chest area. And i would have to wear something over it cause it's spagetthi strapped and since its in church were not allowed to wear anything like that.. but i almost think i'm dressing up to much. 3 of my friends that i talked to are just wearing skirts. But i really like my dress. Its like a salmon color and its short, and just real cute. but i dont know. i'm scared i'll be the only one in a dress & i'll look stupid.. plus after i put something over it i dont know how its gunna look & like what jewelry i should wear and yeah ...what do you think i should do?

Its perfectly normal. Some girls get their period as early as 11 or 12. On the other hand some girls dont get theres as late as 17-18. It realy just depends on the girl. If it realy bothers you , talk to someone as in your mom, doctor, ect. You realy shouldnt be worried though, evrey girl is diffrent.

Firs tof all KNOW HOW TO DO ONE. Not knowing can be very bad. First of all, If you can do a back walkover fairly well it can help a lot. Also if you cna find a spoter who knows how to properly spot helps also[[i spot my bff and its load of fun]] just practice makes perfect getting your back bend so you can almost touch your head to your back of your legs helps tons.. grass is goo but with a spot untill your fear is gone or else haha thats anoeth story lets just say one of my girls i spot got tlaked into with her friends about doing a stunt.. she was terrified but did it anways and had no clue how to do it.. she broke her wrist.

So I shave my underarms every day...but lately I've been getting ingrown hairs and that's never happened before. It's kinda gross...it looks like I have pimply armpits or something (I wash my arm pits every day). I think it might have been because I changed my deoderant recently...but I don't think that makes sense because I don't put on deoderant until after I shave. So does anyone know why this happened and what I can do to fix it? Because it's the hottest month of the year and I would like to be able to wear tank tops again.
