Prom Terror

Question Posted Thursday April 27 2006, 6:09 pm

Ok my question is about my prom.... there is this guy at my school, and last week he was hinting a lot about prom and me... for example we went to the mall and he picked out a prom dress for me and told me i looked great in it (i looked horrible) and lots of other little things, now that i am thinking about asking him this week hes changed a bit, a doesn't mention prom as much. Does he still want to go with me( or did he want to go in the first place)? should i ask him? and how should I? i just want to go as friends and have a good time, but i am afraid of rejection. Thanks in advance

Ok,
I think if you really do want to go with him, then you should totally ask. Don't be afraid of rejection. You have to ask yourself this: What is worse -- saying something and wishing you hadn't OR not saying anything an wishing you had. Whatever you decide would be your answer but truthfully, i would ask him. If you do get rejected dont be hurt a lot by it. Go to the prom with all your friends and have an awsome time. Or you and your friends could have your own prom! If you want details on that then please reply back otherwise - best wishes <333

Dont worry about regectinog. prom is a great big thing, ask him and if he says no its his loss and move on. just serisouly confront him.. like next time he bring sit up say i have no one to go with and ask him if he does, if he says no [[i gues he will??]] then respond with a serously relaxed "we serisouly should go together" and kinda smile at him and wait.. great luck and i hope you have a blast at your prom i think you will....

I have the SAME problem with rejection. I'm terrified of it, but hey, you never know until you try, if it's something you want to do than do it, just think about the good aspect of it, chances are he will probably say yes, but if he dosn't, hey, there are plenty of fish in the sea, or just go with your friends! Hope I helped!

Everyone fears rejection! I understand your nervousness.

Just ask him, would you like to go to prom with me? Ask him right now...go call him before you get cold feet.

He sounded interested enough to help you with the dress. He may think you don't want to ask him so has backed off a bit. Go call him. :)
