alright well i had this pair of tights that were soo cute but they didnt fit anymore and so i cut the bottoms so they are like leggings but you can like tell i cut them and i wanna like sew up the bottom so it dont look like that but i dont have any needles or string lol any ideas on how to make it look like i didnt cut it? I'll rate 5 for all ideas.

Notso answered Thursday April 27 2006, 10:34 pm: you can do this really easily without sewing. However, you do need to buy iron on hem tape. You can probably get it at Walmart for a couple of bucks. Fold the pants to wear you want the hem to go, put the tape/stick stuff on the inside of the hem, and iron over top. Volia, your pants are now hemmed. [ Notso's advice column | Ask Notso A Question ]
aquababe1 answered Thursday April 27 2006, 7:03 pm: i do that with my pants to make them into capris and usually i just fold them back a couple times. if you dont have needles or string than i would suggest (for a makeshift thing) either a safety pin or a button. once you get the string im sure it would stay but folding it back usually just works for me!
