Hehehe,no need to panic hunnie!!I used to be TERRIBLY shy,still am a little bit.The thing I learned to do was to use my sense of humor,and joke around with the guysjust like they were my friends.Let's face it,don't you always notice the person who's laughing and smiling and having a good time?Being shy isn't gonna go away on it's own-unfortunately for us!I think it's really about giving off an air of confidence,even if you don't TOTALLY have that much.Be friendly and smile at guys,talk to them,just about every day stuff.The more you talk about how bad your english class sucks or how funny last night's southpark was,the easier it'll get to talk to guys and just be yourself.That's the key,be yourself.Guys don't like it when you try too hard....shoot we girls don't like it when a guy tries too hard either!!You just look desperate when you try too hard.And it's not all about barbie doll beauty,remember that.But guys do notice little things like,your perfume and your smile,and the way you carry yourself.Have fun with your friends,but don't always be SURROUNDED by your girls.That can intimidating for a guy who wants to approach you.And don't ever be embarassed or ashamed of the way you feel.If you like a guy,drop subtle hints! ;) I realize I'm rambling here so I'll stop,lol,but I hope SOME part of this helped you!!!!

Just a few days ago my boyfriend bought me flowers just randomly. Well i got some pictures of us developed and had him pick out his fav. one. Today I'm going to get it inlarged and framed... and he guessed i was going to do that. Does anyone have any good ideas of little things i could get him including the picture. The flowers were sweet but I want to do something for him too besides a picture. Thanks and I will rate!
Maybe take some of those pictures and make him a scrapbook!!You can also put in memorable things for you guys like movie ticket stubs or lyrics to your song,a logo of a favorite brand of yours,an inside joke,prom or homecoming tickets,lots of things to make it real special and unique for just you guys.I love all that stuff!Hehe! You can check out all your local craft stores or scrapbook places,as well as places like KMart,WalMart,Meijer,etc. for scrapbooking materials.Just a thought!Hehehehe! :)

Hey, well all girls know you should only have your period like every 28 days or something, well ive had my period since i was 11 and now im 14, well its usually pretty on schedule other than maybe a few days, and i have a long period sometimes but no big problems, well inthe past 6 weeks, and now 7 i have had my period 3 times. the first time it was just a little and last about 4 days. then the second time was 2 weeks after and i got the worst cramps like ever, and i usually dont get cramps and it lasted about 5 days and was a regular flow. well then 3 weeks later i have started again and im on still and its lasted about 8 days now, and the first 6 were ALL HEAVY like really really bad, and then i thought it was over and then when i woke up... nope and so now its back and its just a little but what should i do? should i go to the doctor? or what? thanx bunches!
You definitley want to go to the doctor.Your doctor will probably want to run some tests on you,and may put you on the pill or something to help regulate your periods and decrease the occurance of cramps and keep your flow at a normal amount.Try not to worry yourself too much,because stress is never ever good for your body!!!Hope this helps ya some!!I hope you feel better soon.Let me know how you're doing,ok? ;)

me and my boyfriend give each other oral every now and then. well he recently mentioned something about me shaving my pubic hair. he said it would be sexy and easier to perform oral on me. i dont know if i should, it would grow in thicker and darker and id have to shave it all the time. i wouldnt mind it tho probably... what do you think ?
Well,the most important thing is that you do what makes YOU comfrotable.But shaving or keeping things "trimmed" down there isn't a real big deal!You can invest in a real good gentle razor like the Gilette Venus or the Schick Intuition.Trimming it is also a good option.Just keep it as short as possible.You might want to check out this site: www.hairdownthere.com They have some products and advice that might help!!!Also,remember to shave in the direction of the hair growth to prevent ingrown hairs(yuck!),and use something like baby oil or a gentle lotion that is safe to use there,after shaving!Hope I helped a little!! ;)

I really like MAC's products.You can check out their website for the right kind of concealer for you(www.maccosmetics.com).Lancome also makes a really good undereye concealer,for dark circles and such.I think I'd be lost w/o it!Hahaha! Hawaiian Tropic Dark Tanning Oil is awesome!!! Also,Hawaiian Tropic Tanning Oil with Carrott Oil,the spray on kind really works well!!!!!Not to mention it smells great!LoL You could also try Mystic Tan,the spray on booths at some of your local tanning salons(www.mystictan.com for locations near you).I've done it a few times,and believe me,it will get you TAN!!It only lasts 5-7 days,so it's better for special occassions like Proms,Homecomings,a date,a party,things like that.Hope I helped ya!! :)

My friend has been going out with this immature guy for like 7 months now. He is soo rude to her like not returning phone calls, making fun of her friends (like me for instance), blowing her off for his friends. I was open with her telling her how i felt about him, but she didn't care at first. Now she's thinking about dumping him, but she just doesn't have the heart to.

It's hard watchin your friend go thru what you know is a mistake isn't it?! But the thing about it is,you have to let her make her own mistakes and learn from them!She'll be a much better person for it!!!As for what should she do,if she's really upset with his behavior,which I could see why,she needs to sit him down and let him know!Talk to him and let him know how she's feeling.If he's not willing to listen,talk about it,or work it out together,in my opinion,he's not worth the pain.She deserves a guy that will take her feelings into consideration!You shouldn't ever settle for less than that.By letting someone walk all over you and get away with anything you're sending off a strong message about your character and self-esteem!!Believe me,I've been there!!So,my advice is talk to him.If he's a jerk about it,which it sounds like he quite possibly will be,give him his walking papers!!Haha! It sounds to me like he just got scared.Things were getting serious and moving along and just one day it kinda hit him,like "Whoa,what's goin on?" and he sort of freaked out and ran.He probably didn't know what to do.I would still be with him,make your plans,but don't like,rush it in any way!I know you say you haven't but you know what I mean.Let him know that you are thrilled about all of this and you love him so much but you don't want him to feel pressure or feel rushed.Tell him you just wanna make that clear to him!Guys are odd creatures sometimes,lol but so are us girls!!I have a feeling it will all work out for the best!I know it isn't much but I hope this helped!!!Lemme know how it goes!! :)

Okay, the thing is, I'm confused. I know this is going to sound stupid, but I need to ask. People are always asking about tips on kissing and making out. I've never done either of those things, but what gets me muddled is the whole 'it comes naturally' thing. I mean, is it really based on instinct, or should i be worried about my first time doing all those things? (I'm having a hard time getting my point across here, work with me). People ask things like 'where should i put my hands' and 'what kind of kiss' and 'how do you french'. Are those things that you really need advice about, or do they really all come naturally and people only fret because they haven't done them? Is it better to have people tell you how-to's so it'll go better, or is it all going to come together anyway? I hope you don't find me too silly for asking, I'm just(like I stated before) confused! Stand firm girl!!!Let this guy know that you have a boyfriend that you are happy with and committed to,and that he needs to back off!!Tell him if he can't respect that then you just can't even see you two being friends.Let your boyfriend know how much you care for him and that you would never leave him,much less do anything to hurt him.Make it clear to him that you have no interest in his friend.Point out to your boyfriend all the things you love about him and all the reasons you're with him.That should make it pretty clear and obvious to him that you only have eyes for him,and that you want to be with HIM not his friend!!!

My friends aren't acting like friends to me lately. We all used to be one group and now its breaking off in smaller groups. One of the smaller groups went to the mall. I don't mind them going to the mall together, but when they go 20 minutes after i ask them if they are doing anything. And when they go with 2 other people and dont bother inviteing me, Then puting it all in there away messages, profiles, and talking about what happened in front of me. Then i get pissed. I am trying to seperate myself from them, but i tried that and it creates more of a problem. I want to explode. But i cant, I just started highschool and i am trying to make new friends. ( not working out well) so if i break myslef completly off then i will be a outcast and be alone. I don't know what to do. Please help.

I've been there,done that,so I know how frustrating and hurtful it can be!Unfortunately,groups of friends in high school are gonna break off eventually.It's just sort of inevitable.As you all get older,you all change so many times and things just aren't the way they used to be.You'll break off into the smaller groups like you said,and then some of those groups will stay together,some won't.But you deserve to have friends who take your feelings into consideration.It's scary to try and make new friends I know,but sometimes you just have to take that step.Go up to someone in your class that you don't know and introduce yourself.Smile and say hi to people in the halls,be friendly and approachable.At lunch,go up to some kids that may have been just aquaintances before and ask if they have room for one more!!Suggest going out to the mall a night,or to see a good new movie.Show up at some parties that are being thrown,and after school things like football games,wrestling matches,etc.Get yourself involved in some activities you like,like drama,yearbook,tennis,swimming,whatever!!!!That's a great way to meet new people!!I hope this helped a little.You will be fine,I promise!! Wow!! Sweetie you do NOT need to lose any weight!!NO NO NO NO!!! I am 4'10 and 90 lbs and I'm pretty skinny!!! You're at such a young age,your weight and height will change so much!!If anything I would recommend gaining a couple of pounds for your health.As for the "trouble spots" you feel you have,if you want to work on them,exercise!!!Sit-ups,crunches,and even an ab-roller is great for your upper and lower abs.For your legs,hit that treadmill!!Or the pavement,depending on the weather where you live,lol! Also,stationary bikes are a great workout for your legs.At least for me and since we're similar sizes,I figure it should work about the same for you!!!!Hope this helps ya out!!Have an awesome school year hunnie!!!! :)

How do I put eye liner on the top? I don't want it thick, but enough to be noticable.
You wanna get a good liner that draws a real smooth line.Also,I really like the kind that are thicker,kinda like crayons,that you can smudge and blend in with your eye shadow.It's also a good idea to invest in one of those magnifying mirrors,it allows you to see it much clearer and you can see where you're going with the liner.You just pull your eyelid down and hold it down with one hand(finger) and take the other hand and follow along the lashline with the liner.Some brands I really like are Lancome(really smooth,easy to put on and goof proof),Benefit(a good smudge liner called Bad Gal),and NYC is a good one.Also,I LOVE MAC makeup products.They're a little more expensive than drug store makeup but well worth it!!! Hey hunnie,first of all I'm sorry it took me so long to answer you.I think I remember you hunnie.I'm so sorry to hear about your cousin.I just lost a friend who was 19 in a motorcycle accident,and I know it doesn't ever seem fair when someone that young dies.It's difficult to deal with a death in the family at any time,but when you're hit with so many it's a lot harder to deal with.But you have to remember sweetie that those who died do NOT want to see you so upset,and they certainly don't want you to hurt yourself in any way.You've got your whole life ahead of you and so many things to do and see!The hard thing to realize is that when these things happen it is out of our control.It sounds harsh but it's the old when it's your time it's your time.God is in charge of all of that.And I'm one who really believes that those who pass,are truly in a much better place,and that their passing happened for a reason,although it's not always clear.Killing yourself is never the answer.You take the time to notice all the beautiful and positive things in life,that you may never have noticed before.Cherish life,don't try and end it too soon!If you still have my AIM SN you can IM me and we'll talk!Take care sweetheart.You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
